[LISTEN] Aquilo - Good Girl

After a smattering of ambient-pop tracks and some high profile support slots, it's no wonder that Aquilo's latest single is more or less an upbeat affair. They've kept some elements from their last EP here, with the organs and airy vocals staying put and with some very RnB style drum beats and some stunning licks of bass for good measure. They've not forgotten the guitars here, you can hear them wallowing away in the background in the second half of the track, they're out of their comfort-zone here but it definitely pays off!

This stunning track could be Aquilo's best yet - and the single artwork is top notch too!

Aqulio reveals new track "Put Me Down"

Aqulio have today revealed another track from their forthcoming EP, and "Put Me Down" is one of their slowest and gentlest tracks to date. Not forgetting how they came to be, this cut really reminds us of their earlier work. It's a great piece of ambient-pop crossed over with melodic guitars and harmonics, they're going to be a big deal very soon!

Their EP is out May 31st on B3SCI / Islands Records.

After amassing over 100,000 plays on their previous track the duo from The Lake District are certainly on everyone's lips at the moment, and with tracks such as the ones they've produced so far I can see them scoring loads of film soundtracks, crafting stunning down-tempo electronic tunes and tracks to pull on your heartstrings for many years to come!
