Fryars unveils new mixtape, "The Boy In The Hood"

Prior to the release of his brand new album, Fryars (aka Ben Garrett) has unveiled his new mixtape. "The Boy In The Hood" is a massive compilation of his voice memos, alternative versions of songs and one of them is even an original featuring none other than Lily Allen!

Fryars streams two new tracks "Long Road Back To Heartache (via Pain)" & "Mystic Pizza"

Fryars has revealed a brand new track called "Long Road Back To Heartache (via Pain)" and , sadly this is not going to be on his new album as it's one of 'the out-takes' from it. You can listen to the two new tracks just below!

Fryars is confirmed as support for Lily Allen on her UK tour in November-December. He co-wrote two tracks on Lily Allen’s number one album Sheezus and sometimes plays live with her, most recently a short notice headline performance at Latitude Festival:

Rae Morris unveils "Cold" video featuring Fryars

Rae Morris has just unveiled mesmerising video for "Cold" featuring Fryars, out 28th July. The video sees an army of Rae versus an army of Fryars battling against their fading love. The track was produced by, written with and features Fryars, and is taken from Rae's as yet untitled début album, released on 22nd September via Atlantic Records.

Rae Morris reveals "Cold" featuring Fryars

"Cold" is the latest song from Rae Morris and will be available from July 7th as a single, and Morris' début album is due for release on 22 September. The track features Fryars on it and he turns it into a proper RnB anthem with a sprinkling of acoustic piano and electronic synths layered on top.

Fryars unveils "The Power" video

Fryars yesterday unveiled the video to his latest single "The Power" taken from his new EP "Radio PWR" available now across digital e-tailers.

"Radio PWR" is a swirling psychedelic representation of Fryars ability to craft peerless electronic pop music with elements set both in the future and the past.

Ben Garrett also known as Fryars is having a stella year with latest single "Cool Like" me breaking onto the Radio1 playlist and a tour later this year with London Grammar. Ben Garrett bka Fryars is set to release new single ‘Cool Like Me’ on 19th August via 679 backed with choice remixes from Daft Punk collaborator Todd Edwards, Mike Skinner, Tiger &
Woods , Best Dressed Dog.

Ben is currently in the studio working with Lily Allen on her forthcoming much anticipated new album and finishing songs for his record due in early 2014. In the meantime you can catch Fryars on tour with the fast rising trio London Grammar and his own headline shows.

Fryars unveils new video for "Cool Like Me"

The video, filmed in the infamous LA neighbourhood of Watts and featuring residents in most of the roles and directed by Ian & Cooper (Joel Compass), features two evangelical teenagers apparently spreading Fryars’ message and their love of twerking around the bemused neighbourhood.

The filming was temporarily cut short by the LAPD due to incidents nearby, but was eventually able to continue after a delay of a few days. Fryars will release "Cool Like Me" as a single on 19th August, via 679.
