"Don't Give Up The Night" is the brand new single by Essex soul-rockers The Milk, taken from their forthcoming second album "Favourite Worry", which isreleased this October.
After their storming début album came out they've been a bit quiet, but it's great to see them return to form, and with one of their strongest efforts yet!

[LISTEN] The Milk - Don't Give Up The Night
Tuesday, 18 March 2014
Daily Download... The Milk - Do Your Thing
Check out The Milk's soulful cover of "Do Your Thing" by the amazing Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band. It's not the first time the Essex band has covered a soulful old classic, last year they took "Express Yourself" and made it into a modern classic, anyway.
Enjoy the track!

Friday's Finest
It's Friday! Which means only one thing, Friday's Finest! It's All Indie and Slate The Disco have gone and done it again, we've got Yeasayer, Joy Division, Summer Camp, The Milk, and Seasfire all lined up for you this week. Your weekend starts here!

It's All Indie: The Milk - Broke Up The Family
This is The Milk, and this is their most recognisable song, 'Broke Up The Family' has it all, throwback 80's style vocals, and it's the perfect balance of attitude and soul. The vocals are just stunning and we've been going mad over this track all week. Everything they've ever recorded it on iTunes, so grab them all for £5 before they get too big!
Slate The Disco: Yeasayer – Henrietta
Yeasayer this week revealed a brand new track. Check out ‘Henrietta’ below, which despite its naff name is a brilliant, brilliant track. Passionate yet still maintaining their unique genre blurring electronic psych snap gospel. The New Yorkers will be in the UK in July for Latitude, where they will play The World Arena.
It's All Indie: Seasfire - Shiver
Lucy Rose will be coming to Cambridge on the 28th of May and we have for you a great cover of her song 'Shiver'. Seasfire are from Bristol and they've created their own version of a equally stunning track from Ms Rose. The band are currently building some serious buzz around them, and after this amazing cover of a Lucy Rose classic they're sure to get a few more followers down to this!
Slate The Disco: Summer Camp – Life
Summer Camp this week revealed details of a new EP and even given us a taste of the new material. Listen to ‘Life’ below. The track will be part of ‘Always’ EP which is out on July 9th.
Unanimous: Joy Division – ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’
Obviously this is not a new track, but given as today marks the 32nd anniversary of Ian Curtis’s tragic death it seemed only fitting that their best-loved track be our joint choice. Though gone, the music lives on.
Pop on back every Friday for more great music, we keep the best for Friday ;-)
