So here we have a brand new track from Astronomyy, after last week's stunning remix of "Somethin' About U" we have a rather dark track from the West Midland producer come singer-songwriter. Like I said, it's a bit darker compared to his other work, but it's great to see a new act delving into other sub-genres from time to time, and don't worry, if you're wondering where his guitars are, they're there and are delightful as ever!
We've been loving Astronomyy's work for a while now, and since he's writing new material he thought he'd let all of his fans know about tis great remix of "Somethin' About U" by Artlife, and lets be honest, it's pretty damn good!
SO good in fact I can actually see Astronomyy and his band performing this song live! It's not your straight up remix, it crosses a few genres here with added synths for that added 'throwback' feel, with some great breakdowns too this sounds like it's been worked on a lot, top work there Artlife!
Every year we get excited for Glastonbury, and every year it sells out before a name has even been announced. But, when the line-up for the festival comes out in April/May time we get excited, but most of the time the exciting acts are found on the smaller stages, and sometimes even the big bands play secret shows.
So here it is, the TEN acts you NEED to see at Glastonbury this year, and where to find them on what day.

Astronomyy has today unveiled the last of his EP tracks today, and boy was "When I'm With U" worth the wait! It's the boldest and in all honesty the most beautiful track that Aaron has put out to date. You can now easily see how he's managed to get over 15k followers on Soundcloud, it's a real RnB gem mixed with some delicate percussion and light and airy guitar hooks.
Festival season is fast-approaching. Therefore, Field Day 2015 is fast-approaching. The 'inner' city festival takes place over the weekend of the 6th and 7th of June, and boasts some of the biggest names in alternative music This year the festival boasts a more diverse lineup than ever before, with the likes of internationally recognised acts such as Caribou, Chet Faker and Django Django, to lesser known bands such as Astronomyy and Jagaara, who are looking to make some traction. Set in the East London mecca that is Victoria Park, the festival brings you the best in indie, alternative, house and disco, along with a bit of African, rock, and electro-pop just to make sure. This festival is the epitome of multi-genre ambiguity.
With the Saturday acting as the main attraction (at a price of only around £55), punters have a wide range of acts to choose from. In recent years, the festival has expanded to a weekend format, where the Sunday is focused around a headline act - this year, Ride. However, with a day packed full of artists too (including Mac Demarco, Savages and Diiv to name a few), the weekend is the most attractive package at only £83 a head. You couldn't find a better bargain if you ask me.
Being an annual pilgrim, I seriously advise you to visit Field Day this year, or at least at some point in the near future. Grab a ticket and don't miss out. Great people, great setting, great vibes, great music.
That's all I have to say for now. But please check out my essential Field Day playlist (for the Saturday) below. It compliments this great weather we are having quite well.
Astronomyy has a history of having great videos that are visually beautiful, and this latest one shot by ESNAF is once again keeping up the trend. Featuring additional vocals from East London singer-songwriter Denai Moore, "All I Need" will be included on Astronomyy's forthcoming "When I'm With U" EP,
Pr0files is a great up and coming producer and remixer, and here's the latest remix, a great re-working of Astronomyy's "All I Need" which features Denai Moore. This is more of a relaxed and chilled out number compared to the urban-indie original.
You can check out the remix just below, let us know in the comment box below what you think!
Astronomyy has simply come out of nowhere within the last year or so, bursting onto the scene with a fresh sound, mixing RnB beats with light and bright guitar tones. Aaron has seemed to find a niche within the sounds of Tropical and Indie-Pop and has made it his own with some amazing soundcloud stats to back it up.
He has already released an EP which got lots of acclaim on the internet in July of 2014, the "There For U" EP showed off everything he's about, a singer-songwriter who isn't afraid to push the boundaries of his abilities. with hypnotic guitar riffs in all of his songs, smooth and silky vocals as well as great visuals to accompany his music, there is no limit to how big he can be.
People have already compared him to Ben Howard (and even strangely Ed Sheeran, maybe the RnB bits but...yea) His EP was a remarkable début and his latest cut features the brilliant Denai Moore on piano duty and shows off his calmer side, but yet still keeping the excitement.
For fans of // The XX, The Japanese House, Trophy Wife

Lovelife - Nova
After being driven around in a battered old Vauxhall for most of the 90's I already like this song as it reminds me of my young years. Unlike the red tin I was carted around in this "Nova" is a great new song by LA via London foursome Lovelife, who we've been somewhat been following since the early Every song they release is just bigger and better in every way, and with their latest effort including strings, thick bass-lines and Leonard's rough but soothing vocals you know this is going to go down a storm!
