[LISTEN] Mark Pritchard - Beautiful People (feat. Thom Yorke)

NEW Thom Yorke alert, well he's a featuring artist on this one but it's spooky as fuck, maybe not the best idea when I'm home alone with only a laptop screen and my speakers to hand. "Under the Sun" is the forthcoming LP from UK electronic producer Mark Pritchard, and with Thom's vocals on top of it we're getting a spine tingling once again.

Mark Pritchard said - "The original instrumental to "Beautiful People" is a personal song about loss, hopelessness and chaos, but ultimately the message is love and hope. Thom’s contribution to this collaboration captured perfectly what the piece is about. I will be forever grateful to have worked with such a immense talent."

Radiohead announced to headline NOS Alive 2016

Since its formation in 2007, Portugal’s NOS Alive has developed an enviable reputation as one of the world’s leading festivals. Always able to attract superstar headliners and the hottest new bands, NOS Alive also benefits from blissful Mediterranean weather, with both the beach and the stunning city of Lisbon on its doorstep. It should come as no surprise then that the festival is celebrating a huge milestone this year: its 10th birthday. What better way to celebrate such a huge achievement than an even more exceptional line-up for 2016?

So NOS Alive 2016 has announced more additions to it’s line-up, with Radiohead headlining, as well as the Chemical Brothers, Hot Chip, Tame Impala, John Grant, Courtney Barnett and the 1975.

Tickets for NOS Alive ‘16 are now on sale from here with tickets priced at £56 (single day) and £119 (weekend). Local camping is also on offer at the four-star Lisbon Camping & Bungalows grounds in Monsanto, which is located just 5 minutes away from the festival site. Hotel and hostel packages are also available.

Radiohead will tour in 2016

It's been announced that Radiohead will tour this summer in support of their (as-yet-unreleased and un-announced) ninth studio album. So far they've been announced as a headliner for OpenAir St. Gallen, in Switzerland and will also be playing at Primavera Festival in Barcelona.

We're also going to expect them to announce a string of North American dates after those events, and even possibly some UK shows, I hear Glastonbury hasn't been announced yet...! However, the band last performed live back in 2012, so if they are to play some shows, keep an eye on some surprise shows under an alias!

You can check out Radiohead’s 'rejected' theme song for "Spectre" below - it was released Christmas Day 2015.

Radiohead reveal their discarded 007 theme tune "Spectre"

Radiohead have just revealed a new track, Merry Christmas all!

"Last year we were asked to write a theme tune for the Bond movie Spectre.
Yes we were. It didn't work out, but became something of our own, which we love very much.
As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it.
Merry Christmas. May the force be with you."

Radiohead finish new album and will tour in 2016!

Radiohead have finished writing their brand new album Jonny Greenwood has said. He was speaking to a Russian Radio (Silver Radio) - "We have finished recording of the new album but we keep reevaluating the work we’ve done. We hope we’ll get it right soon, and after that we’ll start planning the next year’s tour."

My bets are on a Glastonbury headline (if not a surprise slot) and an arena tour! Previous reports coming from their drummer - Selway - stated that it would come in the Autumn, so it's no surprise (lol) that it's been announced in mid October!

Radiohead favourites for James Bond theme

After someone put £15,000 on Radiohead to be the next band to record the official 007 James Bond theme tune betting has been suspended on some sites, with others slashing the odds by a lot!

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said:
"The first gamble of the day was Ellie Goulding and punters were backing her as if she already had the gig, but just as we were thinking of pulling the plug we had a load of bets for Radiohead including one customer who asked to place a £15,000 bet on the band at 10/1

There seem to be all kinds of rumours and the plot has had more twists and turns than a classic Bond tale, but surely nobody risks £15,000 on a hunch."

Radiohead currently in-studio working on album, drummer Philip Selway releases new video

There have been mutterings regarding Radiohead recording what would be their ninth studio album before the end of the year. Previously guitarist Jonny Greenwood announced they had intended to start recording in September. On Tuesday, during an interview with BBC Radio Oxford, Greenwood confirmed that although he was late, Radiohead is indeed in-studio.

The album will be the follow-up to 2011's The King of Limbs. The bands three-year hiatus has allowed several members to pursue solo projects. As we previously reported, Greenwood recently scored the new Paul Thomas Anderson film Inherent Vice.

Both Thom Yorke and drummer Philip Selway have recently released their sophomore solo albums, Yorke's "Tomorrow's Modern Boxes" has received positive reviews, and Selway just premièred a new video for his song, "Around Again"  - one of the highlights from his album "Weatherhouse," You can watch Selway's new video here, via YouTube.

Radiohead share new music via their app

Anything new from the guys at Radiohead gets the internet all excited, and it looks like they've released (or rather 'shared') some new music.  You can see a number of the updated visuals via The Creators Project, and even more over at Thom Yorke's Tumblr.

Speaking to NME recently, Phil Selway has said:
"We are starting again in about a month's time," . We've decided that now feels right to start making music and we've got the first week booked in together so we'll see how it goes."
