[LISTEN] Franklin - Blueberry Sky

Franklin have unveiled their second track lifted from their upcoming EP. "Blueberry Sky" was part-revealed a month ago with a teaser and the full track has certainly lived up to my expectations. It's a dreamy track, with washes of wallowing guitar lines and atmospheric sounds to send you into another dimension.

If you could imagine The Neighbourhood's West coast feel crossed with Ben Howard's atmosphere then you've basically got what Franklin are trying to achieve, a real delight for your ears. Head on down, check it out and vote for them in the Boardmasters competition.

[LISTEN] Phoria - Everything Beta

I don't know how they do it, but Phoria have unveiled yet another amazing song, this time it's "Everything Beta". With some very atmospheric vocals layered upon one another, thick synths and break-beat style drums the track really does cross over between genres, and really well too.

It sounds like this Brighton quintet are onto something big here, expect to hear a lot more from them in the coming months! The band's début album "Volition" out 3rd June via X Novo (and Humming Records in Germany, Switzerland and Austria).

[LISTEN] Phoria - Evolve

Brighton based Phoria have revealed their latest atmospheric gem, "Evolve". If you could think of the perfect marriage between Sigur Ros and Mansionair then you'd get this cut, and it certainly is a track you'd want to hit the repeat button on. Just open your mind and take this track in, there's a lot to take in to be honest, but it's clearly one that'll stay with us for a while.

[LISTEN] Clock Opera - In Memory

Clock Opera are back with a brand new track, and it gives us an insight to their new album, and judging it based on what we've heard so far, it's going to be atmospheric and dark, two things that go well together! "Do I still do the things that made you fall in love?" sings Connelly, his renowned falsetto shimmering as effortlessly as ever, the minimal bass and womb-like synths gradually intertwining to create a cacophony of ambient emotion.

So head on down to stream their new cut, it's beyond anything they've done so far!

[LISTEN] Coasts - You

Coasts have revealed a brand new track, titled "You" it's lifted off their self-titled début album which is out 22nd of January.

Liam (Guitar) says - " ... "You" is about the hopes and fears that come with the band becoming more and more successful. We find ourselves spending more and more time away from home every passing month, and this song is about needing your loved ones more than ever before, but then seeing them less and less at the same time. Being in a band is very surreal, and you need the people closest to you to remind you what is really important in life."

[LISTEN] Plaitum - LMHY

It's a little known fact that one of Plaitum's very first gigs was supporting Bloc Party up in Manchester back in 2012, I should know, I was there! Since then the Essex duo have been working hard creating more tracks that can make Crystal Castles run for the money. They've had a track on the very critically acclaimed compilation album Kitsune a few years back but "LMHY" is the latest song to surface.

Listen to the very atmospheric track below! The band will release their début EP via producer Paul Epworth's label Wolf Tone. And by the way Epworth has produced everyone from Florence to Adele via Bloc Party.

[LISTEN] Duck House - Tether

Duck House has this week revealed his latest atmospheric track, "Tether". It's another track that's just soaked in sunny vibes combined with some airy vocals, tropical flavours and some RnB style drum beats. Duck House (Stefan) is flying the flag for the Welsh music scene as of late, and after racking up over 1,000,000 streams on his soundcloud account expect to see his name about more often!

Rhodes unveils video for "Close Your Eyes"

Ahead of his show at The Great Escape this weekend Rhodes has unveiled his best video yet for new his spanking new single "Close Your Eyes" - out June 14th via Ministry of Sound. The track and video both are a gentle affair, showcasing his pure ability to capture the audience, reflecting his live shows down to the emotions on his face.
