Hidden Gems... Bloc Party - The Once And Future King

This was originally a part of a free download album for 'Marshalls' - Bloc Party's fan group - in 2006 titled 'A Christmas In The City', it was then released on the last single of 'A Weekend In The City' on the Flux 7".



This is the 'Skeleton' of 'A Weekend In The City' as fans go really crazy for this whenever they play it, which isn't that often. Considering it is a B-Side I am surprised they play this at all! With 3 albums worth of material to choose from I am surprised they pick this at all! The track is typical Bloc Party, rushing guitar riffs, brilliant lyrics, crunching drumming and sexy bass pulses.
