Single Review... Post War Years - All Eyes

After their breathtaking début album there has been a lot of anticipation for the following LP, and as far as we are concerned, it looks like we are going to be in for a treat! The band released the track on their soundcloud a few days ago saying "this will be the first single off our new album", so I thought, I'll review it then. And oh boy, are you in for a real treat!

The opening few moments sound like the kinda stuff you would find on their début album, which would be great to say the least. But it gets better, the track drops into an orgy of sound-scapes, distorted guitar riffs and dirty bass. It has it all, with the chorus adding to the excitement this track is just pure perfection, I swear half of the listens on the soundcloud is just me! The track drops another time after two minutes and it changes direction. This track is already proving to be a monster in it's own making, some big beats, commanding vocals and some tight technical drumming all gets blended into a orgy of noise. This is a great taste of what the album will be, and if it is, it will be yet another breathtaking album, just like the first! The track is produced by the fantastic James Rutledge and with the skill of Post War Years it's a great combination! BUY IT!
