Alex Turner spoke to Triple J radio is Australia yesterday, after being asked what 2012 had in-store for them he said "We're about to go on tour in the States with The Black Keys, we're going to open for them for a while, play Coachella and tour South America too." He went on to say "We're going to try and record a couple of new songs in the next few weeks, and maybe put a single out around that. Like a new tune"
They will be recording the new tracks in Sheffield and should be out (we hope) for the American tour supporting The Black Keys.
