Marina Diamandis has said that her new album, 'Electra Heart', is "an ode to dysfunctional love". The singer says she was inspired by a break-up, but with a twist, adding that it wasn't about creating a victim mentality.
She said in an interview with The Daily Mail that "On my new songs, I wanted to flick the situation around," she said. "I didn't want to come across as a victim. I'm not a bitch, but I wanted to expose that side of my character." Electra Heart' is due out on April 30 and will be supported by a UK tour in May
