Introducing... Kitten

Los Angeles Indie-Rock band Kitten have recently caught our attention, especially considering that the band is headed up by 17-year-old Chloe Chaidez. They've have just released the single, 'G#', off their EP called 'Cut It Out', it's out now through Atlantic Records in the USA. The new EP follows their 2010 effort, Sunday School.



They sound like the perfect blend of The Naked and Famous and fellow American band MGMT. The vocals are very similar to Alisa Xayalith's, but especially considering that the vocalist is only 17 years old she is doing very well for herself. The distorted guitars in their latest song remind me of early Editors tracks with the delay sounds and the constant ripples of bass. They can only get bigger now, be sure to check them out VERY soon. An album shouldn't be far off!
