Lupo are a dynamic four piece from Luton creating dark indie alternative music. Consisting of Simon Tyrie (vocals/guitar), Rupert Smith (guitar), William Iacono (bass) and Georgia Hardy (drums), the band came together through various musical projects. Despite their life span being less than a year, Lupo have already caused a fuss in the local area, supporting upcoming NME favourites Wolf Alice and Drenge at Bedford Esquires.
Only two lo-fi demos are available for your listening pleasures at the moment. The first being 'Deadly Paradise' which crafts an intense sound relatively new to modern indie music, citing afro-beat influences and reverby distortion similar to that of Peace and Foals. The other being 'Free Thinker', an upbeat commercial fuzz complete with many catchy hooks. At the rate Lupo are going, I won't be surprised to see big things happening to them by the end of this year!
