Youthblood are well known to us now, after discovering them through the last 'Un-Signed' Mixtape back in 2012 we've been expecting something big to come out from them for a while. After an 18 month gap between their old mathy demos and today they've transformed into Youthblood and have achieved an astonishing track in the progress. This track is officially their début track too, which is even more of an achievement in itself!
"100 BPM" is a real summer stormer with big vocals, loads of guitar noise, and shoegaze elements buried in it's udnerbelly. The track itself is actually 100.03 beats per minute, but with that irrelevant fact out of the way the track is sitting quite nicely to being on it's way as a serious contender for 'Track of the year'. The Brighton/Maidstone based band have touched upon some genres here that have been massive over the past year, and have combined the best bits of them to create something that (in my opinion) has longevity. I can still see myself to getting on down to this track in years to come!
