We brought to you last week this rather delicious slice of Indie-Pop from South African band Hey, River!. The Pretoria based band have the perfect blend style, charisma and - of course the thing that matters the most in this day and age - catchy music! The track has not been out for a week yet, but it's already got around the internet like any outstanding new Indie anthem would!
If you imagine the perfect combination of Vampire Weekend's first album's urgency, Two Door Cinema Club's upbeat bass riffs and Peace's lyrical ability to capture you and make you sing at the top of your voice! If you thought South Africa has ONLY home to Die Antwood, you're wrong! Hey, River! are only a young band but if they continue creating tracks like this they could easily break out of the country and take over the airwaves in Europe, the Americas and Australia! Remember where you heard of them first!
