They played their first gig three weeks ago and that’s when I first heard of them. They describe themselves as a stoner-rock band, but when I listened to their two released songs I immediately thought that they sound like the early Arctic Monkeys stuff mixed with some Queens of the Stone Age. Especially ‘Em all closely resembles that pure rough “indie” style.
The drum work is really amazing and brings us some unexpected turns while the bass guitar strongly and constantly sticks to its own line and that is the beauty of it. The guitar doesn’t stand out during the verse, but when it gets a chance to shine, it does. In a very simple dirty grungy way. If you like this kind of sound, give it a listen on their Facebook page.
