Tame Impala and The Flaming Lips are divided by a generation, yet share the psych rock style of music. Just by listening, you can see where the younger of the two bands has taken inspiration from the veterans.
In the video below we see Tame Impala cover "Silver Trembling Hands" at their show in Dublin last week, and then "Are You a Hypnotist?" at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris just days later. This is particularly significant because Tame Impala will be touring across the globe with their “friends” (triple Grammy award winning) The Flaming Lips later this year.
