First batch of Glastonbury 2014 tickets to go on sale tonight at 6pm

It's been just over a month since 2013's festival season came to an end, and although you may have only just got over your post festival blues, it's time to now start thinking about next year because the first batch of Glastonbury 2014 tickets go on sale this evening at 6pm.

These particular tickets will be the 'Coach and Ticket Packages' which there will be around 15,000 of to start with whilst the general sale will take place on Sunday at 9am.

With Emily Eavis recently claiming that two of the three main headliners are already confirmed and ready to make their mark on the ever famous Pyramid stage, which has played host to many amazing acts over the years, it sounds as if it is already shaping up to be once again the festival of the year - even if there was no headliners, Glastonbury alone would still be worth the £205 ticket price.

People who are lucky enough to beat off the millions of others trying to also cement their place at the greatest festival in the world, which this year saw conquering headline sets from Arctic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones and Mumford and Sons, will only be asked for a £50 deposit for each ticket they purchase, with the remainder of the ticket price having to be paid by an allocated date. You must also have already registered to be able to purchase a ticket.

Alex Turner's quiff may have flopped at bit during the band's Glasto set, but their performance most definitely didn't
Michael Eavis, the mastermind behind the festival, has recently stated that over one million people have registered for tickets for next year's event, so if you are hoping to get a ticket, I'd strongly advise you have the ticket site up on 20 iPads, 50 computers, 15 smartphones and 50 laptops if you want to stand any chance.

Tickets can be purchased from glastonbury.seetickets.com

Oh, and also make sure you mentally prepare yourself for some serious heartbreak - good luck.
