Alex Turner - "Don't judge bands by awards"

Speaking to the press yesterday after their win at The Brit Awards 2014 Alex Turner said...

"As wonderful as it is to be acknowledged for something you've created, I don't necessarily think that the talent, or how good a group of musicians is is directly proportional to the size of their trophy cabinet."

Last night saw them pick up an accolade for Best Band, and Best Album - the only band to pick up the award on three separate occasions.
