Coldplay have moments ago surprised fans and critics-a-like with a brand new song entitled, 'Midnight' with an accompanying music video - scroll down to watch and listen.
The Mary Wigmore directed music video was spontaneously uploaded to the band's official website with no additional information earlier this afternoon. It predominantly sees the band roaming around a forest whilst the title tracks, that hints at a new yet potentially marmite musical direction, soundtracks it.
The Chris Martin fronted group, whose last album 'Mylo Xyloto' sold over 8 million copies worldwide, are rumoured to be working on their sixth LP and although there has been no confirmation as of yet, perhaps this musical gem is an indication to suggest the arrival of it isn't that far away.
