Arctic Monkeys and Mogwai lead best vinyl sale figures!

[Via FactMAG] - The Sheffield band and Scottish legends have both enjoyed booming vinyl sales over the past year. With Arctic Monkeys releasing their latest album - that went to number ONE in the UK - on vinyl and various singles too contributing to the success. Mogwai have also been announced as a spearheading act that does well when it comes to vinyl.

Bruce Springsteen, Elbow and Warpaint have also been loving their vinyl sales over the past 12 months with over 790,000 vinyl albums were sold in the UK, but 2014 is already more than one-third of the way to that target after 15 weeks, according to the Official Charts Company, who predict sales will hit around 900,000 for the full year if they continue at the current rate.
