Y.O.U is short for Your Own Universe, and it's the solo project of Elliot Williams, who you may know from Airship and most recently a member of Editors. He has just put his EP out and it offers up four original tracks penned by Williams in his bedroom in Manchester and showcases Y.O.U's stunningly beautiful alt-pop style.
All of the songs were recorded in three different studios. One in Paris with Tigersushi Records owner, Joakim, another in London with M.I.A's producer, Neil Comber and finally in Y.O.U’s home studio in Manchester with drummer and producer Steven Griffiths. This has certainly given his EP a unique spin and a fresh soundtrack to your summer!
