The photos of letters recently posted on Alt-j's Facebook account didn't refer to the possibility of Gwil Sainsbury returning to the band. The trio had the indie scene speculating about the meaning of these photos:
Alt-J posted a third letter on September 29th - it was a picture of a "M". Yesterday the true message behind the images was revealed:
