Sam Lee ended 2012 on a all time high, his album “Ground Of It's Own” was nominated for the Barclycard Mercury Prize that year, and this year welcomes him with open arms and with a lot more fans to entice into his musical world.
Goodbye My Darling:
The track starts off with a synth line, a bit strange considering that Sam is a folk artist, however it creates another level for the listener to ponder over. With aboriginal digarey-doo sounds and even more intricate noises coming forth, such as violins, the acoustic guitar and his haunting vocals. He really delves deep into the folk treasure chest here to unleash some exciting sounds.
