Introducing... Big Cosmos

When I first heard this band I immediately thought that they were either from the 80’s or their catalogue belonged in some sort of indie movie montage involving a couple reuniting after a long time apart. Regardless of these impressions, Big Cosmos master throwback to decades past. Charm is key here which is built up over the romantic nature of their tracks. Think shimmering synth reverb and guitar hooks, slow movements, and pop undertones whilst on a space exploration.

The soaring guitars and supersize drawn out melodies give it a favoured summer vibe – allowing you to close your eyes and listen to the spacey dream pop, picturing tall trees, raging sun and cold flowing rivers. In fact, the band’s sound allow you to dream up any perfect location, just sit back and relax.
The five piece band from London have released a debut EP, ‘i l l u m i n a n c e’, on Blessing Fore records unknown to many. With a lot of mystery behind the band and the release, Big Cosmos are definitely a band to look into now before the mystery fades.
