Jake Bugg returns to Jools Holland tonight at 10pm

Jake Bugg, whose recent release 'What Doesn't Kill You' has hinted at a more electric direction for the teen's second album 'Shangri-La', will return to our television screens tonight at 10pm on Later with Jools Holland. This will be the first time (excluding his Hootenanny Party performance) that Bugg has played on the show since his somewhat career-defining debut appearance back in May 2012 - the first time that so many of us were properly introduced to the Dylan-esque musician who would then go on to support Noel Gallagher and score a Number 1 album.

Although tonight will see the young Nottingham star treat us and fans around the world to just the one track, you will be able to see him play an additional two songs on the longer Jools Holland show this Friday at 11.05pm. However, after recently throwing the world a curveball in the form of his latest release, which some have compared to the sound of early Arctic Monkeys, we can no longer really predict what Bugg might do, but we assume tonight's performance will see him play the lead single from his Rick Rubin produced new album that is scheduled to hit the shelves on the 18th November.

As well as Jake Bugg, tonight and Fridays show will also see performances from Manic Street Preachers, Polica, VV Brown, Kacey Musgraves and Cecile Mclorin Salvant.
