The Family Rain finally announce debut album and lead single details

The Family Rain, who have kept us waiting for months and months, finally announced earlier that their debut album will be released on February 3rd 2014 and is entitled 'Under The Volcano'. They also released details about the albums lead single which will be a new track called 'Feel Better (FRANK)'. You can purchase the lead single as well as pre-order their debut album now from 'The Family Rains Debut Album - Pre Order Now!'

Announcing the news rather enthusiastically via their Twitter and Facebook pages, the band from Bath said, 'Morning everyone! ok, we are very excited to announce that our debut album UNDER THE VOLCANO is now available to preorder before its release on February 4th. The first single from the album 'Feel Better (FRANK)' is now available to download with the video coming soon!!!!!!!!!!'

Even though it's been almost a year since the band first caught our eyes and it seems like we have been waiting a while for just a release date let alone a full finished product, it's hard to workout where the band have found the time to record after becoming one of the music industries hottest new properties.

The Family Rain finally announce album details
To put into perspective, in the space of just four months The Family Rain, a band of brothers made up of William, Ollie and Timothy Walter, went from releasing debut single Trust Me I’m A Genius on independent record label Bigger Splash Records in late 2012, to releasing follow-up single Carnival on Mercury/Universal Records in early 2013. They soon handed over the job of record distribution to label Juggernaut Virgin Records, managed to get going the most boring of spectators during their rapturously received Reading and Leeds sets and have toured with mod man of the moment who always seems to be 'AVING IT’, Miles Kane. That's not to mention the fact they have also supported The Courteeners, The Rolling Stones, Biffy Clyro in Ibiza and have even cemented themselves as the main support band for Jake Buggs UK tour which kicked off last Saturday.

I recently caught The Family Rain live a couple of weeks ago and if you also get the chance to, I would snatch it with both hands - these boys aren't going to be playing small venues for very long.

The tracklisting for the album is as followed:
