Bordeauxxx look set to make both first and lasting impressions in 2013. They come from Surrey in the South of England and are an unsigned band who create a infusing, charming sound and it is packed with lots of enthusiasm that promises to grow from first play. They have such a infectious simplistic sound that can easily be compared to Los Campesinos! and a poppy Wolf Alice.
In preparation of both an upcoming single & EP release in the earlier parts of 2011, Team Bordeauxxx has generously made their first EP "Mothers Ruin" a free download back in 2011. Be sure to pick up on "Heartstrings" via youtube. This although recently praised by By Radio 6’s Tom Robinson, will no doubt go down as one of hidden gems, and as they grow bigger and bigger expect to hear about them again in a few months or two. A hard working band that proves it by live performances, you don't get much of them anymore! See them live at our show tomorrow (20th April) at The Nest in Dalston London!
