[TRACK OF THE WEEK] FMLYBND - Hearts on Fire

FMLYBND have revealed their brand new track "Hearts On Fire", and it's lifted from their latest EP of the same name. The EPs title track sounds like they've been listening to a lot of Digitalism, EDM and party music as this track just screams arena filler! The track sound like it's been pure bred for a Friday night dance in the nightclub, but alternatively for a Monday night in a music venue.

The band had a great 2015 with the release of FIFA 15 which had their track "Come Alive" in the soundtrack, as well as churning out hit after hit, supporting Milky Chance and reaching #1 on the Hype Machine. The new EP "Hearts on Fire" sounds just as big, if not bigger than their previous work, and the title track might be the start of bigger things, hence why it's 'Track of the week' this week.

After hitting #1 on Hype Machine with "Electricity" and following up with "Far Away", Isla Vista's FMLYBND have all of a sudden been on the lips of Football fanatics everywhere, but why? Well their latest track "Come Alive" is on the official FIFA 15 soundtrack, which means if you buy the game you'd be listening to it an awful lot! All of their songs have an anthematic feel to them, and following on from their half-a-million synth-pop track "Electricity" you'd be thought that it would be a tall order to follow it. Well you'd be wrong!

The band have also recently released "Young Wild" is even more anthematic than the track before it, with massive vocal bridges building the song up to hit you when the chorus drops it's just a wash of electronic eargasm! Be sure to keep an eye on this band as I can see them having a very busy 12 months ahead of them after this track! "Young Wild" was produced by Eric Palmquist (Bad Suns, Wavves) and is taken from their upcoming EP "Back To Life", with drops on October 7th. Something big is going to happen to this band soon, we can just feel it!

Track of the week... FMLYBND - Young Wild

Normally we post a track that we've been absolutely been loving for a while for this feature, but today I got sent this and I've been playing it non-stop ever since, there must be love there! So lets introduce you to them, FMLYBND are from Isla Vitsa in sunny California - which as of late seems to be a mecca for anthematic Indie-pop!

"Young Wild" is the band's second track within a year, following on from their half-a-million synth-pop track "Electricity" you'd be thought that it would be a tall order to follow it.
