Of Monsters and Men to cameo in Game of Thrones

Of Monsters and Men are set to cameo in an episode of Game of Thrones according to reports. The Icelandic band were spotted in Spain in full costume outside a monastery in Girona - see the tweet below.

No one knows 100% what they're going to be doing on the programme, but after the show got 12 Emmy Awards the other night it's anyone's guess, especially that they're well known for their twists! The National, Sigur Rós and Mastodon have all had a hand to play with scores for the show as well as members of Coldplay and Snow Patrol providing pieces of work.

Following their second successive Hype Machine #1 with their latest single "Oceans". The North Yorkshire duo Seafret have released a video for the track, the emotional video features Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams and you can watch it below.

Sigur Rós record song for Game Of Thrones soundtrack - Listen here

As some sites were reporting during the week, Sigur Rós have been busy recording a song for the Game of Thrones soundtrack. After last year scoring music for The Simpsons the band are certainly not afraid to make music for interesting projects and TV programmes.

They're going to cover "The Rains of Castamere", which was originally recorded by The National, so scroll on down to check out the original.
