Editors new album is a long way from where they were back in 2013, less guitars and more synths & sample pads are the order of the day, and after revealing tracks from their new album "In Dream" they've now shared the collaboration with Slowdive's Rachel Goswell.
On their last album, "The Weight Of Your Love", was the first time the band dabbled with backing vocals, and it seems they liked the idea so much that they'd have guest vocalists on their new LP. This is just one of the tracks that feature a guest vocal on it, but if they're all similar to this then the album's going to be a strong effort for sure! Listen to it below.
Third anticipation of In Dream, forthcoming lp by Editors. Life Is A Fear recalls electronic darkness of Depeche Mode. At the core of the song there's the beautiful voice of Tom Smith.

Following the surprise release of their first new music in two years via a secretive placing of "No Harm" on a Play It Again Sam label sampler and a further taster in the form of the seven plus minutes "Marching Orders" which saw 300 test pressings donated to Oxfam for sale in their stores around the globe, Editors are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of their fifth studio album, "In Dream" by Play It Again Sam worldwide on 2nd October 2015.

Recorded in Crear in the Western Highlands by the band, and mixed in London by Alan Moulder, "In Dream" is the second album to feature the 'new' line-up of the band with Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams firmly in place alongside founding members. "In Dream" is the first Editors album to feature duets, Slowdive's Rachel Goswell sharing vocal duties on "Ocean Of Night", "The Law" and "At All Cost" and is an album focused on allowing artistic interpretations outside of the band to flourish.

Editors have today released another new track off their forthcoming fifth album, the song is called "Marching Orders". Pithcing in at just under 8 minutes long, it's their longest track yet to boot!
The band will continue their long standing relationship with Oxfam by gifting 300 hand stamped 12” test pressings of "Marching Orders". These will be randomly placed and sold in selected Oxfam stores in the UK, Germany and Belgium! So get hunting!
Following the 'official' leak of new track "No Harm" via a fan finding it on a Play It Again Sam compilation, Editors have unveiled their first video from their new album, it's a collaboration with Iranian born, Dutch resident Rahi Rezvani.
Tom Smith said this about the video - "Rahi understands what Editors is, we share a love for a certain aesthetic which our music mirrors. But rather than it all feeling too familiar what's most exciting for us is the element of surprise. It's exciting to be working hand in hand with him, to build on our relationship and see how far we can take it. It is, as he would say, beautiful."

Editors are a band I loved way before starting this site up, so I'm pretty damn excited they'll be going on a massive tour to promote their new fifth album (which is still yet untitled). It'll see them tour all over the UK and then visit Luxembourg, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, Czech Repubic and Poland before popping back to France for a couple of shows.

A fan of Editors' on Twitter has today found their hidden track called "No Harm", they've been posting updates telling fans to look for it on a compilation CD and Erik Drost was the lucky person who found it, and he's uploaded it to YouTube too.
This is the first new song lifted from their - as yet - untitled fifth album which is due to be released either later on this year or early 2016. Listen to it below.
Charity organisation 'Save The Children' have announced a very special one-off special Christmas show on the 4th of December. The gig, which is to be hosted by Lauren Laverne and will be held at London's beautiful Union Chapel venue and will also see live performances from Editors, The Charlatans and Slow Club with more yet to be announced.

Editors' "Honesty" has been re-worked by Dinner Date, and to great effect too! It's not all glitchy and has a great slow trickle of magic within it too, but without leaving Tom's vocals out and the guitars.
Taken from their latest album, "Sugar" is Editors at their pure and best. The single is set to be released on March 24th, no news on formats as of yet, nor if there is going to be any B-Sides. But in the meantime check out the song and fall in love with them all over again!
The band are set to play Camden's Roundhouse on the 18th and 19th of March.
Following a year which has seen them traverse the globe headlining festivals and play an 82 date run of shows since the summer, Editors have announced a London show for 2014. The band will headline the Roundhouse in Camden on Tuesday March 18th.
Editors returned after a four year release break in 2013 with ‘"The Weight Of Your Love"’, their fourth Top Ten UK album which saw them top the charts in Holland and Belgium and crash into the Top Tens of a host of European countries. 2013 took the band to Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK, to a second headline show at Werchter alongside a Lowlands Festival headline and a directory of other major festivals in Europe. The band also sold out massive arena shows in both Holland and Belgium and their first UK tour in three years.

Editors have announced British Sea Power as special guests for their November UK tour for all dates except Belfast and Dublin. Editors release a further single 'Honesty' from their Top Ten UK album, ‘The Weight Of Your Love’ on November 18th.

Editors have released a video for their new track ‘The Weight’ today. The film was shot in Nashville during recording of the band’s forthcoming album, ‘"The Weight Of Your Love"’, by James Lockey.
The song is the opening song off the forthcoming album. Earlier this week the band announced a show in London, click here to find out more about it!
Editors, who release their fourth studio album, ‘"The Weight Of Your Love"’ on July 1st have announced a very special London show for the day of release at Village Underground in East London.
