We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defence program to protect the planet. Ok, lets start off with the bad news, Will Smith is not in the film, but it does star Jeff Goldblum's and Liam Hemsworth at eh top of the billing. The trailer came out of nowhere, quite literally, I mean they were dropping photos and visuals all over the place on their social sites but this is on another level.

The film is a prequel (in a sense) to the eight Harry Potter books, based around 1920's New York and Newt Scamander (Redmayne) - just take a look at the trailer below and tell me you're not excited! The film is released in November 2016, so 11 months away *sigh*.
