Here at It's All Indie we're all about different sounds and flavours, and it doesn't get any different than Goat's brand new track "I Sing In Silence". The quartet's latest offering came as a result of them experimenting with drum machines, and here they've given it a real tribal taste, but still keeping the psychedelic edge that's gotten them so many hardcore fans.

[SINGLE REVIEW] Goat - It's Time For Fun
Goat are chanting and truth telling. From what seems like a terribly dull as ditch water description, this will be the most exciting and the most irresistible situation you have ever had the unfortunate luck of finding yourself in. ‘It’s time for fun’ which was recorded in New York has made such sparse and haunting optimism sound demonic and claustrophobic.
Goat have created an incessant doom-laden bassline that worships the sun and the sheer primal and thick howling at the end is confusing as to whether it is a call for harmony or a cry for help. However, whatever happens, being with Goat and rampaging serenely naked around a small Swedish village is the best option for all our safety.
The single will be out on 7" vinyl on the 7th of August via Stranded Rekords (Scandinavia) / Sub Pop (USA) / Rocket Recordings (Rest of the world).

GOAT to headline Liverpool PSYCH Festival 2014
Cosmic Swedish voodooists GOAT are the first headliner announced for the 2014 edition of Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia. ‘Early Bird’ tickets go on sale today for the two-day happening on 26th and 27th September, held in the warehouses of Camp and Furnace in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
Tickets are available from www.LiverpoolPsychFest.com instore at Probe Records (Liverpool) / Piccadilly Records (Manchester) / Jumbo Records (Leeds).
The £40 Early Bird tickets are a limited allocation. An initial mailing list pre-sale last week sold out in 48 hours, so people are encouraged to purchase early to avoid disappointment.
