Leeds indie pop four-piece VITAMIN have revealed their brand new single 'Waterfall' and it does not disappoint. Again, establishing their signature VITAMIN sound full of catchy choruses, bright synths and exciting guitar solos, 'Waterfall' ensures that the band continue to thrive in 2016. Produced by Rich Turvey and recorded in Leeds, this track contains all the necessary elements to become a hit. After listening to the single once, you'll undoubtedly have the tune in your head constantly on repeat for days.
In our interview last year with VITAMIN, lead singer Jared explained that 'Waterfall' was one of his favourite songs to play, as they would close their set with that track and it was always a great moment. 'Waterfall' is out now and you can catch VITAMIN on tour with The Magic Gang this month and at numerous festivals next month including The Great Escape and Live At Leeds. It was announced yesterday that The Great Escape Festival has sold out one week before it's due to take place.
The leading european festival for new music is set to take place next week on May 14th until Saturday 16th, with the line-up including the likes of Slaves, Django Django, Adam French, Animal House, The Cribs, Shamir, Alabama Shakes, Skepta, Swim Deep and many more across lots of venues in Brighton. There is also The Alternative Escape which runs along side the festival, however, you do not need a wristband to get into those venues.
Speaking about the festival selling out, the festival director, Kat Morris, said "This is the perfect way to celebrate our 10th birthday; We're completely overwhelmed with the response to this year's line-up and can't wait to get started and welcome the biggest new music fans and best emerging artists to Brighton next week."
The Great Escape is also expected to host a record number of secret gigs across the weekend, with Paul Weller already being announced as one of them.

It was announced today that Paul Weller will play a secret show at The Great Escape festival in Brighton next week. The set will happen just two days before he releases his new album, 'Saturns Pattern'.
The show is in partnership with Amazon and is titled 'Amazon Front Row Live: The Secret Show'. It was also revealed that the show would be happening on Saturday 16th May, but the venue has not been disclosed yet. It has been stated that a number of tickets will be available for festival attendees on the day of the show, at a secret venue. You can register below to get the announcement of the venue as soon as it is released, in a chance to grab some tickets.
The Great Escape's website says the following:
"Tickets will only be available on a first come, first serve basis. A maximum of 1 ticket per person will be released from the secret location on the day, so make sure you tell your friends to register now too. Registration is open for a limited time only, closing at 12pm on Friday 15th May 2015, or when the last available registration space is filled.Please note that there will be no tickets available at the venue of the Secret Show."
