Sasquatch! Festival 2015 limited 4-day-passes available Friday

The full line-up for the annual Memorial Day weekend music festival is expected to be announced in February, though it's never a disappointment. The bands I remember seeing from the two years I attended the festival included Beirut, Built to Spill, Murder City Devils, Cold War Kids, M83, Rogue Wave, Mos Def, Santigold, and Zach Galifianakis before The Hangover. I also saw Aziz Ansari and Brian Posehn, although I don't think they were performing.

Sasquatch! has announced its triumphant return to The Gorge —the internationally acclaimed and absolutely gorgeous concert venue at George, WA—for four days over Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25, 2015). 

Last year Sasquatch! was expanded into two-weekends, but the second weekend was eventually cancelled, and this year it's returned to the tried, tested and approved 4-day-weekend format. 

A limited number of discounted 4-day festival passes ($350) will be available on Friday, November 28 at 9:00 a.m. (PST) via LiveNation and will remain available through 11:45 p.m. December 31 (or while supplies last).

Foals announce last minute hometown gig (ticket details)

Foals have announced details of a surprise, hometown gig less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place.

Oxfords finest indie-export will return to the very place that birthed them tomorrow evening (Saturday 1st) with the towns O2 Academy playing host to the groups special show.

Tickets for the event, that have been described by the band themselves as 'limited', will go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock with 50% of the tickets available via the venues Box Office and the remaining 50% available for purchase from Ticket Web (see links below).

Breaking the news just after 9 o'clock this morning via their Facebook and Twitter pages, the math-rock indie five piece excitedly wrote 'WE ARE PLAYING OXFORD...TOMORROW NIGHT!!!'.

The one off show, that arrives on the eve of their UK Tours first date, will act as a warm-up show and will undoubtedly be another highlight for the band that conquered 2013 with a rapturously received headline set at Latitude Festival and a titan sleighing main stage set at Reading Festival.

Dinosaur Pile-Up announce new single and Scala support act

"Peninsula" will be their new single, and out on extremely limited transparent purple vinyl, along with brand new track, "Hanging By a Thread" as its B-Side.

In anticipation of Dinosaur Pile-Up's biggest ever headline show, the Peninsula 7" will be exclusively available at Scala, London on Tuesday February 18th. The vinyl, released on So Recordings, will be hand numbered and will be on sale on a strictly first come, first serve basis.

Fresh from supporting Cage The Elephant, fellow Leeds natives China Rats are the latest addition to the Scala show.
