Duologue announce new album "Never Get Lost"

The London based band stormed into the world with their stunning début album "Song & Dance", and most recently with their highly acclaimed EP "MEMEX".

The band have spoken about the new LP saying:

"Over the course of the last year we wrote an album called Never Get Lost. Written between London, Kent and New York, at times it felt like it was scattered across all three, with parts being recorded in a converted barn with sheep rubbing their faces against the windows, while I was scribbling on a notepad in a New York winter and the rest of the guys writing and practising in London."

You can pick up a new track that's set to be on the new album called "Forests" below!

Festival Review... Underground Festvial @ Gloucester Guildhall, 29th September 2012

Based on how much fun we had last year I knew it would be worth the long drive from Cambridge. This year was better than the last, not bad for a free festival! We open our review by covering a young acoustic act, Emily Jones (pictured) played the BBC Introducing stage and proved why she deserved to be there by giving everyone a powerful performance that can only help her on her way to success.

I stayed in the room to watch Coastal Cities, now we've been following them for a long time on here, ever since we got their début EP way back in 2010. They too played to a full audience, but everyone seemed to be sitting down. The young fans were lapping up everything the band had to offer, yet my friend and I were left a bit saddened with the omission of 'Think Tank'. Still, we enjoyed it none-the-less! Hey Sholay were the first 'big band' that we wanted to see, after the release of their mini-album I had to check out their live performance, boy was I in for a treat. Their live act is amazing, giving fans the chance to participate in the event and with massive sing-a-longs and those sweet Indie-Pop tunes I have to say Bravo to them.

One of the surprises of the day was seeing Lexy in the BBC Introducing room, her powerful vocals memorised the audience who were yet again sitting down. Her band behind her were fantastic. Duolouge were next up and after a slight wait and a bit of a delay the band emerged to give us a unforgettable performance! The crowd were left in awe after their set had finished, it clearly looked like they won over the crowd.

Last Dinosaurs came to play their last UK show, and here the fans were given a treat with a Cure cover and some of their classic songs such as 'Zoom!'. Swim Deep and Peace were next up, the two Birmingham based bands both gave a stellar performance with some band love given to Swim Deep from Peace, this was an amazing duo of bands on. Bastille closed the first night of THE BEST free festival in the UK. We'll be back next year!

Track of the week... Duologue - Underworld

After we introduced you all to Duolouge last week we've delved into their back catalogue and even more. While we were doing that they unleashed their new single called 'Underworld'. It opens with calming vocals and simplistic guitars, this song is far from simplistic and when you're really into the song it sounds rather complex with the Burial-esque drum beats.

This song is nearly five minutes of pure Electronic eargasm, when the strings come into the track around the three minute mark you are just left in awe of the magnificence. No wonder we're tipping them to be big for the turn of the year, this is just proof that a band can keep on producing stunning songs over and over again without losing the listeners imagination.

Introducing... Duologue

We're introducing a fantastic band from London today. Duologue are a five-piece who play some amazing electronic music, and as I am about to prove to you they certainly live up to expectations. The vocals are haunting yet reassuring and remind you of Clock Opera lead vocalist. They play on each other so well, as you can tell in their latest track 'Underworld', which is a glitchy track that's one of those tracks that grabs you from the off.

They've so far released a few demos and a couple of EP's and they're slowly but surely building a big fan-base up. Also to add to that they are about to release a double A-Side single, and for the Football fans inside of you they're going to feature on the new Fifa Football soundtrack. That should help propel them into the consciousness of the masses, they surely can be a big thing, just wait 12 months and see!
