The Who announced as Isle of Wight's 2016 headliners

British rock icons The Who are heading back to Seaclose Park on the Isle of Wight for the fourth time in the band’s history to headline The Isle of Wight Festival, it was announced today.

Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend and their live band, which includes Zak Starkey, Pino Palladino and Simon Townshend, will be bringing their globally successful Hits 50! tour to the island for their only UK festival performance of 2016 on Saturday 11th June, with a spectacular live show resplendent with hits including ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’, ‘Baba O’Reilly’, ‘The Seeker’, ‘Pinball Wizard’, ‘Who Are You’ and ‘My Generation.’

Isle of Wight Festival announces The Cribs and more added to line-up

he Isle of Wight Festival today announces five acts for the 2016 festival, taking place 9-12th June at Seaclose Park. Joining the line up are returning indie brothers The Cribs, rock’n’roll duo The Kills, Britpop alumni Ocean Colour Scene, legendary rockers Status Quo and festival favourites Mike + The Mechanics.

James Bay confirmed for The Isle of Wight Festival

The Isle of Wight Festival today announces that BRITs Critics’ Choice winner James Bay will be playing this year’s festival, which takes place 11-14 June.

The hotly tipped songwriter, whose début album "Chaos and the Calm" is released in March, has been selling out shows up and down the UK and this special festival appearance will undoubtedly be a highlight for fans who have been watching his ascent to be one of the most talked about acts of 2015.

Isle of Wight Festival announce more names for line-up - Coasts, Pretty Vicious, Ruen Brothers & Groove Armada

The Isle of Wight Festival have announced a whole host of new names to join this year's bill.

Hotly tipped acts Coasts and Pretty Vicious will be taking to the stage, as well as Ruen Brothers in a line-up that already includes Fleetwood Mac, The Black Keys, The Prodigy and more.

Groove Armada will also play a DJ set and a host of artists have been announced for The Garden Stage.

Fleetwood Mac to headline Isle of Wight Festival 2015

Yes that's right, Fleetwood Mac will be headlining the Isle of Wight Festival in 2015. It'll be the band's one and only festival next year, and this is made even more special now that the band recently reformed to their classic line-up, with Christine McVie rejoining.

The Isle Of Wight Festival 2015 will take place on 11-14 June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight. Tickets are on sale 9.00am Friday 5 December from www.isleofwightfestival.com.
