[LISTEN] United Fruit - Where The Sun Beats Down

Scottish band United Fruit have revealed a brand new track which is taken from their new album "Eternal Return". "Where The Sun Beats Down" is a pure post-punk revival track, with some insane riffs and uplifting vocals, this track sounds like it's been written for the big stages, and after playing it, I can see them commanding the festivals in the coming months.


The single is lifted from the forthcoming album "Eternal Return", which is released May 13th. They're also on a short Scottish tour in May, you can check the dates out below.

Kelvin share video for "Chase" on It's All Indie [IAI PREMIÈRE]

4-piece rock band Kelvin will release their new single "Chase" on April 1st 2016, but before that we're streaming it exclusively on It's All Indie. Kelvin come from Glasgow, and have been quite dedicated to the scene recently, which has resulted in the band having been asked to play at this years Kendall Calling festival, on July 30th.

Kelvin released their début single in October 2015 following a furious period which saw them play to fans across the UK, honing their trademark slick song-writing, catchy hooks and anthemic sounds. The video really does reflect their sound, with smoke machines, flashing lights and a feeling that leaves you feeling wanting more!

Kelvin are Connor McGlave (vocals, guitars), David Gilles (lead guitar), Bradley Revill (bass), Michael Bigart (drums).

[LISTEN] Holy Esque - Fade

Glasgow outfit Holy Esque have just dropped their new track 'Fade' and it's set to be a bitter-sweet anthem for summer.

'Fade' comes from the forthcoming EP 'Submission' which is due for release on 17th July. Fans can also be treated to a video that accompanies the band's new track. It's been a while since we heard from the band but it looks like there may well be an album planned around the corner!

Track of the week... Dananananaykroyd - Muscle Memory

This weeks 'Track of the week' has been written by Will Crosby, guitarist of Neon Index. Probably the only Glaswegian six piece ‘posi-core’ band you will ever hear are back with their new single ‘Muscle Memory’. This song, like their previous work, is instantly accessible and catchy as hell and features the same eccentric enthusiasm and energy that was what made their debut album, ‘Hey Everyone’ so enjoyable.

In classic Dananananaykroyd style the vocals are shared between John Ballie Jnr. and Calum Gunn (the former of which seems to have put down his drumsticks in favour of the microphone on a permanent basis now) which, during the verses gives a wonderful ‘call/response’ or ‘question and answer’ feel that coupled with their strong accents give Dananananaykroyd their instantly recognisable sound.



While their sound hasn’t changed massively there is certainly a slightly more mature feel to this song…perhaps not in the sound but the composition or the lyrics. Their new album ‘There Is A Way’ drops on the 13th June and this song is a strong statement of intent and shows what a strong force Dananananaykroyd are set to become. I think 2011 will be a good year for them.
