Father John Misty has uploaded a new track over the weekend, he says - "I was asked to write a lullaby for Stephen Colbert as part of a skit for the show. Unfortunately the bit was cut for time/content."

[WATCH] Father John Misty - The Suburbs (Arcade Fire Cover)

Father John Misty has covered Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs" in honour of them being named CBC Music's Best Canadian Band of all Time. He stopped by the B.B. Gun's The Shed while in Vancouver during his current tour and immediately picked up on the vibe of the little room and played an exclusive set to an audience of about 25 people.

Courtney Barnett and Father John Misty announced for Glastonbury

Emily Eavis has revealed the bookings in a interview, she says - rather letting it slip - that Courtney Barnett and Father John Misty have become the latest names to be announced for this year’s Glastonbury Festival.


She has also played down reports that Coldplay or Florence & The Machine will be headlining the festival saying - "I’m not entirely sure what slot she’s going to be in yet, but she’ll [Florence] definitely be there"

Other names announced for the festival - so far are - Lionel Richie, Foo Fighters and The Dalai Lama as well as Courtney Barnett and Father John Misty
