Here at It's All Indie we're in the mood for some sunshine, so here's a collection of songs we are going to be playing ALL summer!
It's a wide range of tracks, remixes to covers as well as a varying degree of genres too, one thing is for sure, you'll definitely find a track in here that you WILL love!
Since the Wednesday edition of this post was a hit, I've decided to put up one for Thursday, and to be brutally honest - there is a whole lot more going on on the second full day of the festival than the first, so with that in mind here is our 'What to do' list for Thursday!
1 - If you haven't got a sore head, wake up nice and early and treat yourself to some cooked breakfast, they do Emu sausages, Ostrich egg omelettes and all sorts of herbal tea.
2 - William's Green is where it's all at - usually the TBA/TBC bands are 'Indie' bands, last year was Wolf Alice and Drenge, the year before was The 1975 and Metronomy, the year before that was Alt-J. So it's always worth a shout,
3 - BBC Introducing - Check out the stars of tomorrow play on the BBC's flagship festival stage for new music. The line-up is smaller compared to Friday to Sunday, however they do have a few class acts from all over the UK, so if you're at a loose end watching an up and coming band is always a good shout!

4 - Check out some new and fresh Electronic music and some great artists from further afield at La Pussy Parlure Nouveau (in the Silver Hayes area) - in recent years I've seen MØ, London Grammar, Garden City Movement, Balthazar and Fenech-Soler there.

5 - Take in the view from the top of the Ribbon Tower in The Park (photo of the Tower below) - although you may have to pay to up it.
6 - Go to Shangri-La - there are clubs for every music scene there, from 80's Rock to Trance via Pop and Jungle! It's a mind blowing place.
7 - Block9 - go to Block9 and check out some pretty radical installations and epic artwork on the buildings. It's mainly a rave/dance/electronic area of the site, but it's a thing to behold even if you do go in one of the venues for a few minutes!
8 - Beat Hotel - head to the Beat Hotel, grab a drink, climb the steps outside of it if you're not too drunk and enjoy the music! Some pretty sweet DJs make appearances there and it's close to a lot of campsites, so head on down!
9 - "The World-Famous Thursday Piss Up", organised by the Glasto Chat Facebook page. Look out for a horde of pink umbrellas by the big tree in the Pyramid field on Thursday around 1pm onwards.
The music doesn't start on Friday like everyone thinks, it actually gets going noon Wednesday, usually hours and even a day ahead of some punters arrival.
1 - Climb to the top of the hill and take a photo with the Glastonbury sign, it's quite a good work-out and try and do it while sober, then get pissed up there and try and walk down again, it's amazing looking over the festival when it plunges into darkness.
2 - Go and see Mik Artistik- He's on at the Croissant Neuf Bandstand, and if not there check out the Glastonbury app by EE - always a laugh if you've had some cider, sober or even if you're with the kids!
3 - Walk around the site in peace and quiet - It's a really amazing place to be when there is only a small amount of people there, take some pictures and frolic around the grass before it turns muddy.
4 - Head over the the Pyramid Stage and gaze at it while they're putting the finishing touches to it.
5 - Go to the green fields and take in a seminar on global warming and get your hair done by some lovely hippie types. You can get some really cool Glasto memorabilia from here too, bracelets, organic clothing and plenty of people that will open your mind to many things!
6 - Head over to The Park and find the sing-a-long tent, where anyone can sing in a band and perform. Throw in some great song names and the band will perform them! Well worth a visit if you're good on an instrument!
7 - Be amazed by Arcadia, sometimes they have trial runs with the flame throwers, if it's raining... it'll keep you warm!
8 - Go to the Cider Bus, in-between The Pyramid Stage and William's Green. They have 10+% ciders (some even have a dash of rum in them too), warm cider and proper cider - y'know, Somerset cider, none of your Brothers type supermarket bring it in a can stuff!
9 - Wait until dark and go for a wander, it's one of the best experiences around! You can find anything if you look hard enough, I saw a Wizard play the Dr Who theme tune on a guitar last year and then went to a rave, mad right!
10 - Find the TreeCafe bar near The Park and sip on some juicy Pimms! It's located in-between The Tower and the Glastonbury sign.
11 - The Burning of the Phoenix, it's located at the sacred Stone Circle on the southern side of the site, not hard to miss really. You know when Glastonbury has officially started when you see this lit up!
12 - The fireworks at The Park, it's not hard to miss, and even on the first night Glastonbury likes to show off a bit to the punters. Usually it happens shortly after sundown.
13 - Head to Brother Bar, drink some of their pear cider and realise how fucking potent it is and then have more, why? Because it's Glastonbury and you're allowed.
Ok, so Fifa 16 is coming out soon and I simply can't wait for one thing... no not getting Arsenal to sign a player or to get my beloved Cambridge United team into the Premier League, rather the soundtrack! This year features loads of artists we've supported for a long time such as Bastille, Coasts and ZIBRA, along with a load more that I've personally seen perform live.

British vocalists always get praise all over the world, but a portion of them get over-looked at festivals and when radio stations do their 'playlists'. This is just a total shambles for equality and can be seen as sexist, especially when a certain festival rhyming with Bedding and Beads books an incredibly small amount of acts including a female - let alone female vocalists.
I'm a guy and can't stand it that in 2015 sexism exists still, especially in the music industry when people write about their deepest feelings and express them to all. Below is a MASSIVE list of acts that have a female vocalist leading the group or an astonishing singer-songwriter proving that gender is just a word and you should be judged on music. If we go by these rules, if anything, the men will be put to shame!

Every year we get excited for Glastonbury, and every year it sells out before a name has even been announced. But, when the line-up for the festival comes out in April/May time we get excited, but most of the time the exciting acts are found on the smaller stages, and sometimes even the big bands play secret shows.
So here it is, the TEN acts you NEED to see at Glastonbury this year, and where to find them on what day.

We've had a lovely ride with The 1975, and it looks like it's set to end. With all the hoo hah about that post on social media the other day, and the subsequent deletion of their accounts has made a lot of people upset, and for me (Fred) a little bit saddened, as I'm a fan of their more 'electronic' and 'experimental' side the top 10 may not be to your taste, but it's a top 10 none the less!
The band simply grew far too quickly, which these days is a hidden curse - yes the fame might be amazing, but for bands there does seem to be a ceiling, and as soon as they hit that their career stagnates. But enough of that, we're here to celebrate the band, and the TOP 10 tracks that involve one way or another - The 1975 - so this does include remixes!

Podracer, the only conclusion behind their name is that they're a big fan of Star Wars, possibly, possibly not. But their music is certainly a fast paced one, much like their fictional counterparts. I've always been a fan of the heavier side of 'Rock', more to the side of Punk rather Metal, but Podracer have pitched themselves in the middle of the two.
Listening back to "Hammers And A Hand Gun" it reminds us of A* - a band that back when I was growing up everyone loved. It's got distorted and deep vocals, brilliantly tuned guitars, epic riffs towards the end and a chorus to get giddy about! You can also get their debut album in the link below! There's more to the Irish music scene than Kodaline, Hozier and Two Door Cinema Club you know, and we're loving it!
Bloc Party have had a pretty turbulent week - here we re-cap what as been going on, if you might've been on the site within the past week you might have seen a few different posts, here's what actually happened.
17th March Today I bring to you good news! Bloc Party have started recording their fifth album. In an interview with Australian radio Triple J this morning, Kele Okereke has said that they have 18 news songs, they've already started recording and he even went on to play a new track!
"I guess it's the first time that I have talked about it but we are making a record at the moment, It's sounding like nothing that we've done before but that's what everyone always says.
We're at the writing/recording phase. We've started recording - I think we have about 18 [song] ideas and we're going to lay them down properly in the next few months. I said if there was a guitar it was a sign ... I'm going to play a song from the new record; this is called 'Exes'."

Gordon has announced via twitter that he will not be a part of Bloc Party's future plans, and will be concentrating on Young Legionnaire instead.
