[LISTEN] SPARES - Ciggy Stump

Liverpool-based proto-punk four-piece SPARES have unveiled their exciting new track 'Ciggy Stump'.   ‘Ciggy Stump’ is a bratty number that echoes the Buzzcocks’ ‘What do I get’ in feel.  Armed with a driving bassline that provides a strong introduction to the energetic tune one cannot question the dynamic vibes that this band possesses.  Containing a truly catchy chorus brimming with 'Yeah Yeah Yeah's' and powerful percussion, the rhythm of the track is established perfectly.

The band have a strong DIY work-ethic making their own videos, lyric videos, band photos, and booking themselves into a residency at Zanzibar, Liverpool.

[LISTEN] SPARES - I Like It

Liverpool-based four-piece SPARES have released their brand new track 'I Like It.' Following on from previous tune 'Not Enough', 'I Like It' has a more poppy feel but still has the buzzing energy running through it. Armed with a catchy chorus embellished with repetitive heavy guitar riffs, this track is most definitely a head-banger. This proto-punk band continuously deliver, with dynamic melodies and lively vocals one can only expect more great things to come from this Liverpudlian quartet.
