Cambridge's very own grunge-rockers Bloody Knees return with a crunching new track "I Want It All". The track is released off the back of another support tour with their mates Wolf Alice and showcases how big their sound can be with some slick production and mixing from Matty Moon.

[WATCH] Heyrocco - Loser Denial [IAI PREMIÈRE]
South Carolina grunge three piece Heyrocoo release new track "Loser Denial" with a brand new video, exclusively on It's All Indie.
The angst fuelled track, dragging in sounds from bands like New York Dolls, is taken from their debut album "Teenage Movie Soundtrack". The band have already seen strong support in the UK after playing a début show at London's KOKO to a sold out crowd of 1,400 for Club NME and did a run of shows with The Xcerts. On top of that, the band packed out the Sebright Arms in London for a headline date. It's no secret that with the release of Teenage Movie Soundtrack, the 'Disney grunge' band are going to see far more support and success and here at It's All Indie, well... we absolutely love them!

Track of the week... Moats - Brace
I'm back from my holiday, and what awaited in my inbox this morning was something rather spectacular, it's only a brand new song from Moats!! If you've been keeping up with the band as of late you might know that they played on the main stage of Austin City Limits in America, chosen via NME no less, and it seems this has given the band a whole lot of energy and has really spurred them onto new heights!
"Brace" is the finished product from what happened to the "Heavy Band Practice Thing Jam" that the band uploaded for a bit earlier on in the year. We knew it had potential, but this is something else! They've gone from a band that wrote very radio friendly Indie-Pop to a band that's really starting to find their sound in a more grungier corner of rock'n'roll. "Brace" is set to blow the socks off your feet, just hit play (over and over and over again) and tell me I'm right!

Yawning Dog unveil 'Sugar/Jar'
Straight outta Hemsworth comes the self-proclaimed 'tightly packed quartet of orchestrated noise monkeys' or in other words - Yawning Dog, a band taking on a new take on grunge; complete with droney reverb riffs, fuzzy rhythm guitars and a storming entry of drums, bass and vocals.
Even though the band have only recently come to life, IAI wrote about the band when releasing their self-produced 'Nothing To Say / Drift' which received many positive reviews. The band consists of Sam Womersley, Ryan Laws, Daniel Wearmouth and Joe Prochera. Now with more and more gigs on the way including Long Division and a load strapped firmly to their belt (including a youth offenders prison), have unveiled their first proper single in the form of the double A-side 'Sugar/Jar'.
'Sugar' is an electric single which perfectly demonstrates what Yawning Dog are all about. The feature of a glockenspiel playing the riff alongside the reverb-drenched guitar riff works perfectly alongside the growly guitars. Both tracks are relatively short in length which really shows the energetic urgency the band represents. Womersley's severely northern voice also almost acts as a signature stamp for the band. The production on the tracks emphasises the punchiness and I'd love to see both songs performed live. 'Jar' is more of an exploration through their destructive sound and works well alongside 'Sugar'.
I'm hoping that the potential these guys currently hold will soon materialise in to an explosion of sound in their next recordings, they've got a lot to offer!
Yawning Dog will play:
30th July - Fenton, Leeds
2nd August - Flannel Fest, Temple of Boom, Leeds
3rd August - Long Division warm up, Castleford
5th August - Parish, Hudderfield
8th August - The Empire, Swadlincote
23rd August - Carpe Diem, Leeds

Introducing... Cold In Berlin
Led by captivating front woman Maya, Cold in Berlin are just about to release a Remix EP with contributions from producer Pete Baker, Witch House cult act Heretics and the renowned Drumcunt; this is the last piece of work he did in England before moving to Japan. They offer energy reminiscent of early grunge and even earlier no-wave, yet the noise they make is all their own. Creating delightfully sinister hooks that will bond your blood cells to the dark side then release them straight into your head with gloriously pounding crescendos.
They've got half of the next album written and have spent parts of this year touring around Europe with their German tour diary to be captured on the Artrocker website in October. After the success of their album 'Give Me Walls' they've got an exciting year ahead with the White Horse EP, a single early 2012 shortly followed by a new album.
