BERNACCIA unveil video for "Awake" on It's All Indie [IAI PREMIÈRE]

Newcastle's Bernaccia have today let us reveal their heavily psychy new video for their latest track "Awake". The track has got some soaring guitars, a tribal feel to it and combined with the distinctive boy/girl vocals throughout they really have found a gap in the genres and made their own!

April 2016 sees the release of their next single Awake. The track is the first full length track with new member Ellen Chetcuti, you can watch the video below!

[LISTEN] Thomston feat.Wafia - Window Seat

The New Zealander is back with a brand new track, and accompanying him on vocals is the stunning Wafia, their collab "Window Seat" is a very smooth cut and has some dreamy hooks too. I have to say I do love songs with 'boy/girl' vocals on it, they always tend to give the track that extra layer and makes it very delicate as the two vocalists intertwine their varying voices.

AMETHYSTS reveal BBC Introducing session video for "Alone" [IAI PREMIÈRE]

The duo of Amesthysts have today revealed a live video for their beautiful track "Alone". The track was recorded for BBC Introducing Suffolk and sees the duo shake off some of that electronica and go stripped down to the bare bones, just the gorgeous harmonious vocals, delicate guitar, smooth and silky synths as well as looping drum beats - to produce a chillout anthem. Just as well as today's Monday - so give this a play and enjoy!

[LISTEN] SuperGlu - Rounder

SuperGlu have today revealed the lead track from their début EP - "Rounder" - and have it backed up by a UK-wide tour! Formed in 2014 by two Bens (Brown and Ward), Brown's brother Alex and girlfriend Krista Lynch, SuperGlu are a garage pop four-piece from Manningtree, Essex. They’ve been championed by Amazing Tunes and BBC Introducing's Huw Stephens, who broadcast their first demo on Radio One in October 2014!

We're a big fan of theirs - as you might know - but this is their biggest track yet, with big and bold guitars the band have shared their most exciting track so far. Their debut EP - "Horse" - is out 24th of February via Antigen Records.

[LISTEN] Haarm - Foxglove

2016 is well under way, and we love hearing new and exciting music, and it doesn't get any newer than Haarm's début track "Foxglove". The track had a few nods towards Indie-Pop as well as shimmering Electronica, this goes down straight away as a winner in my eyes. It's one of those tracks you've love to put on while you're driving, those duel vocals just win you over from the word go!

SuperGlu announce debut EP and UK tour.

Essex based Garage-Pop four piece SuperGlu have announced a UK tour in support of their debut E.P 'HORSE' - scheduled for release this February on Antigen Records.

"HORSE" will be fans first taste of new music since "Diving Bell"/"Latvian" - the double a-side single that bought the band to our attention in the summer of last year. The E.P's first single 'Rounder' will be available for digital download from 03/02/16.

[LISTEN] FMLYBND - Hearts On Fire

FMLYBND have revealed their brand new track "Hearts On Fire", and it's lifted from their latest EP of the same name. The EPs title track sounds like they've been listening to a lot of Digitalism, EDM and party music as this track just screams arena filler!

The track is pure bred for a Friday night dance in the nightclub, or a Monday night in a music venue, you can check it out just below!

[LISTEN] Amethysts - How Deep Is Your Love (Calvin Harris & Disciples Cover)

Amethysts so far have had a lot of love from BBC Introducing for their first two tracks, and now the duo have revealed their cover of "How Deep Is Your Love" by Calvin Harris & Disciples. Much like "Alone" and "Wreckers" the track is covered in harmonious vocals, superb guitars laced with the right amount of reverb and delay as well as some rather delicate synths thrown in.

Oh Wonder share video for "Without You"

Oh Wonder have had a fantastic year, with the release of their debut album it's just going to be up from here, and after sold out shows in the UK and USA they've now shared a flick for their track "Without You" which was filmed inbetween shows over in America.

[LISTEN] IYES - Gone

After we heard the début track - "Lessons" - off IYES' second EP a fortnight ago, we've been treated to a new tune from the duo. "Gone" is much of the same, but with some additional sounds and flavours in the style of steel drums, giving this one a very unique sound. Laced with chimes, boy-girl vocals, superb electronic effects, this song is quickly getting to be one of my favourites of theirs!

[LISTEN] IYES - Lessons

Not long after the duo released their début EP - "Part One" - they're now offering a sample of what's to come from their second EP, adequately entitled "Part Two". Josh Christopher & Melis Soyaslanová have shared "Lessons" which is another gorgeous slice of Electro-Pop with some stunning vocals from them both, nods towards Daft Punk in parts of the track and with a great section of piano making this track more than just any other, it's simply brilliant what they've crafted.

[WATCH] Oh Wonder - Drive (Live at Madia Vale)

Oh Wonder popped down to London to perform their beautiful track "Drive" at the legendary BBC Maida Vale studios for Huw Stephens in Session. The duo's début album is out this September, with all of their previous releases on it, plus a few new unreleased tunes.

[LISTEN] IYES - Lions

IYES' brand new EP "Part One" is now fully streamable, mainly due to the last track, "Lions", being uploaded to their soundcloud account, and it sounds like they've saved the best of the tracks to last. This one explores a few genres, with some Tropical licks to it in places, comparable basslines to Gorillaz's first album and some brilliantly worked duel vocals.

The duo are well on point with this new track and by the sounds of things are dead set on releasing a cracking album, we know it's going to be good, just listen to this and tell me I'm wrong - exactly, BRILLIANT.

[LISTEN] RITUAL - JOSEPHINE feat. Lisa Hannigan

RITUAL have shared a brand new cut - "Josephine". It's the lead single from their forthcoming second EP "From The City To The Wilderness" and it features some smooth vocals from Lisa Hannigan with gives the RnB flavoured track an added dimension.
 

The track is a marriage of RnB, with some Folk elements combined with some ambient cues - it's certainly one of the best tracks we've heard within the past month. This track deserves to be played all over the radio and based on this cut alone, RITUAL can easily sell some pretty big venues, 2016 sounds like a good year for them.

[LISTEN] Rhodes & Birdy - Let It All Go

Written and produced by Rhodes and Birdy with additional production by James Kenosha and Dan Grech and mixed by Dan Grech, "Let It All Go" is a powerful union between two of the best singer-songwriters the UK has to offer.  Having been mutual fans of each other's work, Rhodes and Birdy were introduced and quickly started writing together. The powerful "Let It All Go" is the astonishing result.

Speaking about the track Rhodes said - "I wanted something in the last quarter of my album that was a slight departure from the rest of the songs and after being immediately struck by the beauty and honesty in Birdy's voice I thought this would be the perfect way to do it".

[LISTEN] IYES - No Wonder

Last week we heard a new track from the Brighton based duo IYES called "Go Crazy", and they also announced their new EP - "Part One". We're now being spoilt with more electro-pop goodness with "No Wonder". This is one of their most upbeat tracks with the spritely piano keys giving it that late 90's disco feel.

[LISTEN] IYES - Go Crazy

"Go Crazy" is the first track lifted from IYES' brand new EP "Part 1" to get an airing on their soundcloud account. The band posted on their facebook saying they were back and with this new number in tow. It's a synth heavy track with the usual going on with vocals, Josh and Melis taking it in turns to woo you.

Their début EP is expected to be released soon via Love By Mistake.

The duo have today revealed a brand new track in the shape of "Landslide", as it's the 1st of the month, and it's now the usual thing for them. Also they've announced their début album which'll be released on the 4th of September - preorder here. This is yet again another dream-pop come chillout anthem draped in harmonies and sweet melodies. [LISTEN] SuperGlu - Latvian [IAI PREMIÈRE]

We premièred their début single a few weeks back, and now we're premièring the B-Side to the single, "Latvian". The single is officially out via digital retailers on the 22nd of June via Antigen Records.

The song was written by singer Ben Brown (singer) for his girlfriend Krista (bassist) following a row on the phone last year. He embarked upon a hazardous 120 mile journey from his home in Manningtree to her flat in Brighton on a 40 year old Honda C70 moped, without a map or directions, planning to say sorry in person. Inevitably, he got lost. The trip took nine hours and he eventually arrived in Brighton at 3am.

Unable to wake Krista by phone and stranded in the street, he strapped his acoustic guitar to his back, climbed the scaffolding outside her building to her fourth floor flat and serenaded her through the window with this song.
