Peace reveal "Perfect Skin" video

Peace have revealed the video for their track "Perfect Skin", which is lifted from their second LP "Happy People" - which came out back in February of 2015. According to their Twitter page the video was shot by Eminem... I'm pretty sure that's bogus but it's more than worth the mention!

6 Ghastly Glastonbury Clashes to Avoid

It's the inevitable nightmare of Glastonbury every year. You can double-check your clash finder as many times as you wish, triple-check the official Glastonbury app, but there's just no way of avoiding the gargantuan of clashes.

The saying "Well I could watch them and then catch the end of those?" will not do. Glastonbury is huge and with 170,000 people walking in every direction, you're stuck in the mud. So we've compiled a list of the worst clashes over the weekend and tips on how best to avoid them.

Friday

Jungle 4:30pm, Other Stage 
Wolf Alice 5pm, The Park Stage
Peace 5pm, John Peel Stage

No, what did we say? You can't catch the start of Jungle and then get to the others in enough time! Jungle drew one of the biggest crowds last year at the John Peel Stage, and could throw an even bigger show this year. Wolf Alice and Peace are chummy so may be quietly competing on winning the crowds over.

Our tip: Wolf Alice. This band are about to get huge and their debut album is just about to drop. You can always catch Peace at the Rabbit Hole the same night at 8:30pm.


Florence And The Machine 9.30 (ish), Pyramid Stage
Mark Ronson 9pm, Other Stage
Jamie XX 9.30pm, The Park Stage
Hot Chip 10.15pm, West Holts

If three acts clashing wasn't bad enough, try four. This raises a few eyebrows and a few utterances of "who the fuck booked these time slots!?" but that's the brilliant variety of Glastonbury. Florence has been bumped up the order and there's only one way to find out if she's headliner material... Elsewhere Mark Ronson, Jamie XX and Hot Chip are all bound to bring party vibes, with Hot Chip going on into the night.

Our tip: It's got to be Florence. It's going to be a landmark performance and could go down in Glastonbury history for better or worse. The rest you'll be able to catch at other festivals, and with Jamie XX on the up, expect many more chances to see him.

Saturday

Slaves 2pm, John Peel Stage

Everything Everything 2.30pm, William's Green

The John Peel Stage is infamous for blowing up acts. Last year Royal Blood, George Ezra and Jungle all propelled their career from there. Slaves could just about do the same this year. Everything Everything on the other hand are about to release their third album. It's big, big enough to fill William's Green that's for sure.

Our tip: Take your pick! Both bands are playing two sets each so you can catch Slaves the same night at the Hell Stage or Everything Everything on the Other Stage on Friday.

Pharrell Williams 8pm, Pyramid Stage

Ben Howard 8.40pm, Other Stage

Pharrell Williams will be hoping to keep the sunshine out for his Saturday evening performance and it's a rare chance you'll get to see one of the biggest names around right now. If you fancy something more unexpected though, go for Ben Howard.

Our tip: Ben Howard. He's become a masterfully moody musician who has the ability to switch at any time. Hopefully his performance will live up to Glastonbury folklore rather than turning his back on thousands and telling them to 'f off'.

Sunday

Alt-J 5.45pm, Pyramid Stage
Charli XCX 5.50pm, John Peel Stage

Two opposite ends of the spectrum here, but each are bound to put on two of the best shows of the festival. Charli XCX has proved she's a worthy pop star with rock star attitude, whereas Alt-J have just kept being themselves and put on one of the tightest live shows around.

Our tip: Alt-J. It's always good for bands to put on a decent show but Alt-J take it to new levels. Their show is crisper than their records and more gooey than the mud beneath your feet. How? You'll have to go and see for yourself.


The Who 9.45pm, Pyramid Stage
The Chemical Brothers 9.45pm, The Chemical Brothers
Mini Mansions 10pm, Rabbit Hole

No one saw this one coming. The Who headline Glastonbury on the 50th year of their career. It's huge for them, but for the majority of the audience? We're not convinced. The Chemical Brothers will look to put on the final party of the weekend whereas Mini Mansions will burrow themselves in the Rabbit Hole. Could they be accompanied by a certain Alex Turner? It could happen.

Our tip: It's the last night so choose wisely. Mini Mansions towing in Alex Turner could be a long shot and The Who are your dad's favourite band not yours right? Go for The Chemical Brothers. Past and present work point all indicators towards them to seal the deal on the Sunday night.

Aside from the clashes though, there's tonnes of other acts to go and watch. Make sure you do download the official Glastonbury EE app. It'll come in handy when your up to your eyeballs in times, stages and obscure band names.

Peace unveil "Gen Strange" video featuring Peter Crouch

Peter Crouch has been spotted at Reading, Glastonbury Festival, Arctic Monkeys' show last year in Finsbury Park and now is appearing in Peace's new video for "Gen Strange" - the track is lifted from the band's second album "Happy People".

An Interview With... Peace

The Brummie Boys are back in town - although they never really went away. Continuing to ride the wave of success, Peace are on the road again, in support of their second full-length, 'Happy People'.  I caught up with Harrison and Dominic at Brudenell Social Club. 

You’re playing smaller independent venues on this tour. What was the reason behind this?

Harry: It’s a double-edged sword; I think we just wanted to pace ourselves and do a few shows in each little place to try-out new material before the record came out. The bigger picture is that a lot of these venues are struggling more and more these days. It seems for bands and artists now that it’s always this linear plan of, ‘Ok let’s make it to the O2 in London’, or as soon as they’ve done a tour this big it’s like, ‘well let’s put one on sale for eight-months-time for a bigger venue’. People forget to just do it properly and do some of these smaller shows.

So you find these shows more interesting?

Harry: It’s way more interesting. It gives us a reason to keep going. Variety is the spice of life – or VITSOL, as everyone keeps on saying.

Dom: What? Nah, people won’t start saying that. (Laughs)

I’m not sure if that one will catch-on.

Harry: It’s the new YOLO.

It was reported at the end of last year that The Kazimier could be facing closure to make room for new developments.

Dom: I think they’ve come through the other side. I think they were on the brink, but they’ve come through it – that’s what I heard on the night.

Could more be done to help these venues out?

Harry: I think bands need to stop trying to be bigger than they are. With every buzz-band I know it’s like a constant struggle to seem bigger; saying shows are sold out that aren’t, for example. Bands should just go out and play to the level they feel comfortable at.

Do you feel like there is more energy with the smaller shows?

Harry: Yeah, totally. Everyone’s connected and in it together, and the next time when we go and play the bigger venues, everyone’s had the chance to see us in these places. I’ll feel like we’ve built-up on something really solid.

You worked with Jim Abbiss again on ‘Happy People’ and you mentioned he works in a live and traditional way, with just you four in a room playing together. Was it a similar process this time around?

Harry: This time it was more like, ‘let’s listen to drums’ and we’d experiment with sounds. We got so good at playing together that if we just went in and recorded ‘Money’, just the four of us; we’d be in and out in an hour and a half. We had time for this record to listen to the drums and make them sound different, and work on bass sounds that would work with that. We just paid a little more attention to everything.

Dom: We did more manipulating of single tracks, as isolated parts.

‘World Pleasure’ features a string section, piano and layers of percussion. Have you thought about bringing any of these elements into a live setting, as the band grows and you play bigger shows and stages?

Harry: I’ve got this picture in my head that when we start headlining festivals and special occasions it’s like, ‘whip out the string section!’ We’d do it if we headlined the pyramid stage; it would need to be something massive.

You’ve said there is more of a groove to this record. Was this a conscious decision after seeing how crowds react and move to certain songs?

Dom: It’s always come quite naturally to us. Without meaning to blow my own trumpet, I feel like Sam and myself have always quite easily slipped into the groove.

Harry: It became enjoyable in the studio. When you’re doing something like ‘Money’ or ‘World Pleasure’, Sam and Dom would record together and you’re in the control room like, ‘Fuck, this sounds good!’ and when you do heavier songs everyone’s there like, ‘Ok right, this is loud, that’s cool.’ The groove-based songs take a bit of brains and thought I think.

New songs have been premiered on this tour. What’s the reaction been like?

Harry: Really fucking good to be honest, everyone’s been well into it. God bless ‘em!

Dom: Thank God!

I read that ‘Money’ was an attempt to break-away from autobiographical lyrics. Did you make a decision not to include as many personal experiences in the new album?

Harry: It was just me starting to write again, and not writing from a deluded perspective. When I was in Birmingham having the time of my life, just going to clubs and getting fucked and having fun all the time – that’s the time when you write lyrics that are just like, ‘I love everything! I love you!’ When we started touring, I left that bubble. You’re not with your mates; you’re not getting fucked-up all the time.

Have you experimented with writing from someone else’s perspective?

Harry: Not yet. I think that’s more of an album four thing. My life is still too interesting to not have anything to say; I’ve got the imagination for it though.

Dom: I drum in character. (Laughs)

‘I’m A Girl’ deals with gender roles in society. How did the idea for the song come about?

Harry: I was almost reminiscing and writing retrospectively about when I was younger and in Digbeth. I kind of hung out in the wrong places for the way I dressed, but I kind of got a kick out of that. I used to basically dress like a really hot chick and go to chavvy house nights.

Dom: Did you just say you used to dress like a really hot chick?!

Harry: Yeah I used to I think. There have been times I’ve been mistaken.

Dom: Right, ok. You might be right though, you might be right! (Laughs)

Harry: I wanted to draw on that a little bit, and then that unlocked this bigger picture. The more you think about that stuff, it becomes less of a personal thing. I was thinking about how that’s kind of fucked up; it should be totally something that’s up to you. It’s a hot-topic at the moment I guess. I heard that Selfridges were going gender neutral and there won’t be men’s and women’s anymore – I quite like the idea. I was shopping with my fiancé and they were being really funny about me trying on a women’s jacket and trousers, like really freaking out about it, and I was like ‘why?’

Do you feel like fashion is important in the band?

Harry: Not really. I’ve always been that way.

Dom: I can vouch for that.

Harry: I’ve always dressed like a legend.

So there are quite serious issues within the lyrics, but your videos and the way you present yourselves online is quite tongue-in-cheek. Do you think it’s important for bands not to take themselves too seriously?

Harry: I do like that bands can take themselves seriously though, and I do respect it when you can totally commit to a brand like that. For me, it just doesn’t work. Some people go on stage and act like this fucked-up weirdo, and they come off and are the most normal person – fuck that; go onstage as who you are. It’s like when people who idolise Ian Curtis or Kurt Cobain want to act like them – those people had real issues, and before they did they weren’t like that.

You’ve visited a lot of places around the world since ‘In Love’. Has the extensive touring and new places you’ve visited influenced the new record at all?

Harry: ‘Money’ was in America, and that’s the first time I’d been there. It was the first time I had experienced the withered shell of the American dream, like old restaurants that had shut down. Loads of it was inspiring; that’s why I was writing about things other than myself. It was the first time I’d seen anything beyond my little bubble.

Last year you made the jump from the NME stage to Main stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals. What boxes do you hope to tick in 2015?

Harry: We’ve always just wanted to be this amazing band. I find it hard to sit there and be like, ‘I wanna fucking play Wembley!’ We’ve never wanted to be big as in selling loads of records and tickets, but we’ve always just wanted to be a fucking amazing band.

Can we expect to see you at Glastonbury, being promoted to The Other Stage maybe?

Dom: Yeah, how did you know?!

Harry: I think they should just put us on headlining the Pyramid Stage. (Laughs)

You’ll need to get that string section sorted then.

Dom: Yeah! Not enough balls in their booking.

It seems like there hasn’t been a gap between album cycles. Have you had time to reflect on your experiences and how big the band has become?

Harry: No, we don’t really have chance to look at it – we’ve just soldiered on!

Live Review... Peace @ Queen's Social Club, Sheffield, 30th January 2015

You’d be mistaken for thinking Peace aren’t a big deal judging by the venues they’ve picked to play in over the next few months. The B-Town band have left academies to one side to showcase material from their second album, 'Happy People', in front of more intimate audiences. 

Queen’s Social Club is their residency for the next two nights and follows suit with it’s beer stained carpets and tinsel covered walls. Filled with a few hundred teenagers, and couples sat on laps around the fringes, it feels like a weird school disco, where the wacky kids stick out like a sore thumb. 

Once upon a time Peace would have fitted into that category, but having stuck it out in their mum’s garage and donning dubious haircuts, they’ve now grown into something everyone craves. Bodies swirl in a swollen mass towards the feet of singer Harry Koisser’s trailing fur coat as the band rattle off ‘Higher Than The Sun’ and ‘Follow Baby’ from first album, ‘In Love’. The opportunity to play new material is latched to as ‘O You’ and ‘Perfect Skin’ are heard for the first time, the latter opting for the chance to console niggling anxieties; ‘I wish I had perfect skin, I wish I was tall and thin’, not the first unusual lyric choices we’ve become accustomed to.

Other new tracks, ‘Money’ and ‘Lost On Me’ are already instant B-Town classics and send the crowd into a frenzy, but it’s ‘1998’ at full thrust which really sorts the tie-dye from the die-hards. The twisted version of Binary Finary’s dance hit isn’t the only 1998 floor filler to leak from their guitars though as ATB’s, ‘9PM [Til I Come]’ ,rings around the room amongst woozier tones of ‘Float Forever’ and ‘Sugarstone’. The band opt for a different pre-millennium sound though in romanticised ‘Someday’, where Koisser’s vocals slip in and out of Liam Gallagher whines, whilst he stands unashamedly in some sort of rat onesie - a questionable choice of dress even for him. Thankfully one of the stronger new additions to Peace’s set comes in the form of ‘World Pleasure’, an unassuming savior to Brit-pop which is meant for stadiums but stands glorified amongst sticky condensated walls. Bass player, Samuel Koisser even takes a step into the crowd to show off his funk-fueled riffs, as Harry hails the crowd, ‘one of the best we’ve ever had’.

If there’s any proof needed that Peace are one of the most important bands in British music right now, it’ll be seen this year. Shows of all sizes and a second album which teeters on the consistency of their debut could bring about the revival of Brit-pop to guitar-thirsty crowds.

Peace go overkill in video for 'I'm A Girl'

Birmingham outfit, Peace, have released the latest track of their forthcoming album, 'Happy People', released next month.

The track, 'Im A Girl', is the fifth track to be taken off the band's second album, which will also feature previously released singles, 'World Pleasure', 'Money', 'Lost On Me' and 'Gen Strange'. The video for 'I'm A Girl' is the band's first interactive video, as viewers can pick between four scenarios revolved around the lyrics; Harrison writing the lyrics on glass, Dom beating around them on his drums, Harrison and Doug taking to the mic in a karaoke style video, and finally, shots of someone instant messaging the lyrics, emoticons and all.

It's fair to say that after sitting through those twelve and a half minutes of their new track, if you don't know the lyrics, then you 'ain't a true fan'. 'I'm A Girl' will feature on the band's second studio album, 'Happy People', released on 9th February. Meanwhile, you can watch the video, or all four videos for the track below:

The title says it all, this just shows how two amazing bands come together and can cover a classic and make it brilliant, the ultimate party anthem! All we want know is a studio recording!

Through One Ear and Out the Other; A Musical Shift From 2014 to 2015

Music is a constant, merely blurred by the boundaries of our calendar. 2015 will provide nothing different on the music scene as old rockers return and new names bubble to the surface, there should be something to savour for music fans this year. Here's some personal tips and moments to look forward to in 2015.

1. Return of the Maccs

On New Years eve Orlando Weeks and co gave us news of a new album and plenty more live shows hitting us in 2015. What the details are exactly we don't know yet but if it's anything like their last album, 'Given To The Wild', then their next instalment could be the record of the year.

2. The Rock 'n' Roll Revival Hits Wembley

In June Foo Fighters will take to Wembley Stadium to play some of their biggest shows to date but what's even more tasty is their support. It comes in the shape of hard-hitting duo Royal Blood who could soon rival Dave Grohl for a headline slot. 2014 was the definitive year for the pair but 2015 ought to firmly establish them as saviours of thick riffs and drums, a lot of drums.

3. Peace is the word

B-Town quartet Peace will bring some more shimmery vibes to your ear waves early on into the year with their second album, 'Happy People', dropping in February. Having spoken to the man behind the mic it seems that it won't end there though as a sea of tour dates and plans for a third album are very much in motion.

4. A Band Called Palace

With the return of the Maccabees already being noted, a band who will be hot on their heels this year is London outfit, 'Palace'. Their alternative tinting of archaic blues brought them a support slot on Jamie T's tour and 2015 will undoubtedly see them rise from their debut EP platform.

5. King Raury

If Outkast's comeback was too 2002 for you then welcome to Raury. The teenager from Atlanta is making rifts across seas and has impressed the likes of BBC to feature him on their Sounds of 2015 list. Over the past year he's released some interesting projects touching upon Andre 3000 and Childish Gambino influences which will carry him confidently through 2015.

6. Male music

Raury's not the only young man who you'll be hearing in 2015. Bipolar Sunshine will be delivering upbeat pop rhythms whereas the more gentle whirrs of Brits critics choice, James Bay, will be prominent and for the more rugged edge, Only Real will be bringing the skatty upbeat guitar playing back. Expect these three to be very much in and around some of the best things you hear this year.

7. Festivals

Hardly a surprise this but yes the dawn of 2015 means we move even closer to festival season. Despite the slightly under-par line up, Glastonbury was a stonker last year so if Eavis manages to book the bigger acts this year, it could be one of the best yet. Elsewhere Reading and Leeds have brought in Metallica, making their Glastonbury performance last year look not so special after all. Smaller festivals to look out for include Bestival - the biggest party of the year, and metropolitan festivals, Live At Leeds and Tramlines.

8. The Brits Bullshit

It appears the only good thing going for the Brits this year is that James Corden has been put out of his misery, his script tossed to one side as Ant and Dec take over the presenting duties. Don't expect any tongue in cheek public speech by Alex Turner this year though. Instead sit back and enjoy a festoon of faces who you'll have been tired of seeing since last February - Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift will all give 'big performances' on the show - all for the viewing figures eh.

Peace release video for "World Pleasure"

Peace have released a video for their latest single "World Pleasure". This is what the band had to say about their new video:
"Please see our music video we made the other day for our song World Pleasure. 
We decided to go to the coldest room in the UK and spend the day doing our thing!"

 "World Pleasure" will appear on Peace's second album "Happy People", which will go on sale on February 9th.

Peace add London show to 2015 UK tour

Peace have announced that they will be celebrating the release of their new album "Happy People" at Heaven, London on the 9th of February 2014. The show is part of the NME Award shows 2015 with Austin, Texas.

 The band’s highly anticipated second album titled Happy People is set for release on the same day - tickets for the show go on pre-sale at 9am on Wednesday 26th November on www.nme.com and will be available on general sale from 9am on Friday 28th November.

Peace reveal new song "Gen Strange"

Peace have revealed a live version of "Gen Strange", a track that's going to be on their new album "Happy People", and it's a much more poppier song than anything we've heard so far, maybe taking even more influence from their Brit-Pop idols!

Considering this is a live recording it's pretty tight and well mixed, we're looking forwards to their next LP even more now.

Peace Announce New Album 'Happy People' and Accompanying Tour

B-Town's finest, Peace, have announced details of their second album, 'Happy People', and a tour for the public to drool over it.

'Happy People' is due for release on 9th February 2015 via Columbia and will include the singles, 'Money' and 'Lost On Me'. You can see the full track list below. They announced the release of their album through a witty version of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' which can be seen here.

On top of this, the band have also announced a series of dates across the UK in the new year around the release of the new album, dates of which are also shown below.

Peace announce free gig at The Rainbow Courtyard, Birmingham

We do love a free gig, and especially when the band is an exciting one with loads of new music to play. A few weeks back Peace were announced for a show at The 100 Club in London, and now they're repaying their local fans back with a show at The Rainbow Courtyard in Birmingham.

Peace Play Surprise 100 Club Show

Surprises. They’re either the sweetest thing in life or sink like a led balloon. Last night’s surprise was thankfully far from the latter. It was very much a case of drop your plans and get off work to join the queues, Peace are in town. 

For those lucky enough to win tickets to the gig, announced just the day before, they made up a sweaty and cramped crowd whom the band rekindled their love with, after their array of big festival stage appearances over summer. Visitors to The 100 Club on Oxford Street would be blessed with not just Peace but two other acts as well; fellow B-town boys JAWS and Nottingham outfit, Childhood. Both washed the crowd in psychedelic groove and set up the main act of the night. 

They’ve learnt how to do these things now, Koisser and co. The setlist doesn’t look too dissimilar to that of their Birthdays shows almost 18 months ago, but it’s now been tinkered with and mastered. Their ‘1998’ cover kicks things off with it’s most spine-tingling of build ups and the well known songs are rattled off, the crowd growing in liveliness. There’s room for the new too. ‘Money’, ‘Lost On Me’ and ‘World Pleasure’ which are set to feature on their second album, all made an appearance. By the end of the set and ‘Float Forever’, the band were met on stage by sweat drenched teens mauling the various members, Harrison at the back trying to squeeze out the final lyrics and guitarist Douglas Castle hopping aboard the crowd.

After a few drinks and a chance to transform into his ‘pre-show’ clothes, I spoke to frontman Harrison Koisser about the show, their second album, and their future third album...

Hi Harrison, how’d you feel that went?

Really well, I thought it went good. It was a really good show.

It was only announced yesterday. Has it been planned for long?

No, pretty last minute, fairly last minute, not very long at all really.

Childhood and JAWS also played tonight, are you big admirers of them?

Yeah, they’re mates, we’ve been playing around with those guys for quite a long time, they’re beautiful bands.

Last year you played a string of shows at Birthdays in Dalston, how did this compare to that?

Yeah, this was quite similar to Birthdays in that it’s quite intimate. I prefer this to be honest, the Birthdays shows were alright but this was really good actually. We haven’t done a show like this in ages, it’s really fun.

You’ve done lots of festivals recently, do you prefer the bigger stages or smaller venues?

It’s two really different things ya know. I think with big festie shows we come off stage and don’t feel tired or drained. Whereas tonight you come off stage and you’re like woah! You’ve given everything to the show, so I dunno which is better.

I saw tonight you had to retreat to the back of the stage as the crowd spilled over...

Yeah, I wasn’t really sure what to do. I don’t really mind that, it’s just stuff gets broken so it’s like ‘I’m off!’

You played three of your new songs tonight. When can we expect the new record?

January. I’m pretty sure it’s January now, because we wanted to do it in August but the closer it got, we wanted to put out quite a bit of material before, and we put out 3 songs, maybe we should put out 4 or 5. Just try something new, get a lot of material out there.

Would you say this record’s evolved from ‘In Love’?

Definitely. I think we’re just exploring more stuff, different things, experimenting with different genres and stuff. We’re all a bit more musical now and we all understand what we’re doing a bit more. There’s a bit more groove on this record.

Are you intending on taking a break after this record?

Nah definitely not. I think we’ll probably tour for two years and then release another album, try and record it during that.

You’ve been pretty much non-stop over the past two years wouldn’t you say?

Maybe yeah. I think that’s the way to do it though isn’t it. While you’re young, just keep on releasing records and see where it goes. I mean the sound will probably evolve quite a bit. 

I’ve noticed you’ve changed your appearance since coming off stage. Do you have any post-show routine?

Yeah, it’s nice putting on a new pair of clothes, I’m energised again. I’ve gone into my after show look!

And have you got any plans to stick around in London for the next few days?

Yeah, I’m staying in London at the moment. I’m gonna do some more writing for the third album. It’s really weird writing for the third album before the second one’s out, but we’re doing that now so I’m gonna stay around for a few months until December.

Peace play three new songs on return to Reading Festival

Peace treated the crowd to some familiar tunes as well as three new tracks on their way to conquering the main stage at Reading Festival.

The Birmingham band have come on leaps and bounds in the past year, hopping from the NME/Radio 1 stage to the Main Stage at this year's Reading and Leeds Festival. Each member took to the stage to cheers from their now devoted fans, Harrison Koisser parading on last in a shimmering fur coat and golden guitar - his latest in a long line of striking festival attire.

Below cloudy skies that were refusing to break open, Peace opened with 'Lovesick' from their debut album before delivering latest single, 'Money'. In a set that consisted of ten songs, the band treated the crowd to their next upcoming single 'Lost On Me' in which Harrison sprouts ginger locks in the song's video, which have now just about disappeared. The distorted, whirring guitars are at an all time high and so are the band, looking more than comfortable with Koisser teasing the crowd, 'you remember how to clap along right?'.

Bundles of energy come in the form of familiar tracks, 'Higher Than The Sun', 'Wraith' and 'Follow Baby' from 2013 album, 'In Love'. Koisser declares 'let's get a bit soppy' before the tender riffs of 'California Daze' ring through the swaying, peace endorsing fingertips of the crowd, 'Float Forever', similarly providing another opportunity for a sing-a-long.

However, it's the new tracks that blow away the shackles of last year's confined NME tent performance. 'World Pleasure' is on another level to anything Peace have done yet. It's everything Peace are; fun, care free and harmonising but it's also an anthem, a Primal Scream loaded triumph that blows away 'In Love', not even 18 months later. By now the sun is fittingly out and 'Bloodshake' is the perfect book-end to another chapter in Peace's already short-lived rise to the top.

With their new album just around the corner, things are seamlessly perfect for Peace and it shouldn't be too long until we talk about them conquering the later slots on some of the countries biggest stages. Peace out.

Peace release video for "Lost On Me"

Peace have confirmed details of their new single. The band will release "Lost On Me" on the 28th September, the follow up to previous single "Money". The band will be playing on the Main Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals over the weekend of 22nd – 24th August.
