Young War - Tell Someone Who Cares - [EP STREAM PREMIÈRE]

Today we've got a band who are set to take 2016 by storm, and yes, we can already safely say that! The two piece recorded the EP over 4 days in March this year at Eve Studios in Stockport, Manchester. The studio lives inside an old vicarage, like a vintage museum/time capsule. All recordings were made to tape, with all the gear they used no younger than from 1975.

"Tell Someone Who Cares" will be released on 8th June, and to celebrate the band will play a very special headline show, hosted by Communion at Gullivers, Northern Quarter, in Manchester.

Fyfe streams debut album "Control" in full

Paul Dixon (aka Fyfe) obviously began this project a good way back, when he uploaded breakout track, blog hit "Solace" (now with Radio support at Radio 1, 6Music & XFM).

This was followed by a run of successive HypeM #1s for each track that followed. So there’s a nice sense of the project coming full circle with these tracks drawn together with the previously unheard material which together compromises "Control". The début album is officially out March 25th.

Swoons stream new EP "The Night"

We caught Swoons play in St. Albans supporting As Elephants Are, and they were a great surprise for us, whenever we check out a band it's great there's a decent support act that compliments the headliners music. I remember the trio playing the EP's title track on the night, and it's even better fully recorded, you can check out the Buckinghamshire trio's stunning new two track EP below!

Jack Burrell streams new single "I Will Run"

Jack is one of the hardest working solo artists along the M11 corridor (Harlow, B. Stortford, Cambridge) and after his string of covers we've been keeping a close eye on developments. The charming chap is back and with a astonishingly beautiful new single, "I Will Run", which also includes the b-side "In The Dark".

The single itself is his first release (if memory serves me right) in two years, and the spine-tingly two track folk single is the best way for him to return in my mind, just showing his song-writing skills off brilliantly!
