As you all know, we love Swedish music and this latest Swede sensation is currently getting hyped all over the world thanks to the HypeMachine (which we're not a part of, #notbeingsourhere) and Spotify. The track reminds me of a George Fitzgerald track but with a lot more guitar lines, and it honestly sounds like it can be performed live by a band, this is some sick production!
Listen to it below.

[LISTEN] Haarm - Foxglove
2016 is well under way, and we love hearing new and exciting music, and it doesn't get any newer than Haarm's début track "Foxglove". The track had a few nods towards Indie-Pop as well as shimmering Electronica, this goes down straight away as a winner in my eyes. It's one of those tracks you've love to put on while you're driving, those duel vocals just win you over from the word go!
So why not head on down and check out Haarm's début effort.

Introducing... Hælos
If you live for those nostalgic days where you stick on a Massive Attack album to help the ‘relaxation’ process after a particularly big night out or a particularly rough time, then London-based HÆLOS(or Hælos, I honestly have no idea why bands capitalise their names nowadays) will be the new band for you. Hailing from Bow in East London, the trio dish out genre-hopping tunes that exude breathy vocals and ringing percussion.
‘Dust’, their 2014 debut single, incorporates the very best of London Grammar-esque tenderness with a hint of shivering pulsation akin to The XX. After a quiet release, the track buzz has snowballed online, where it was soon being talked about by the likes of Zane Lowe and gaining airplay from Annie Mac on Radio 1.
Signing with Matador Records (other artists include Savages and Darkside), the trio have released a new track – ‘Earth Not Above’. With a drum beat strangely similar to the 1990 hit ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’, this latest offering is a piece of trip-hop perfection.
Make sure you check them out. They will be playing Field Day (London; 6th-7th June) and The Great Escape (Brighton; 14th-16th May).

Gig Review... The Soft @ Portland Arms, Cambridge, 1st March 2012
The Suffolk trio open up the show tonight against a projector backdrop of looping images that run parallel to The Soft’s music. They open with ‘Hot Summer’, the first track of the EP of the same name, sounding larger, and more fulfilling live. The extended version of this track soon fades into ‘Venus Breath’, reverb samples and the lead singer’s droning voice ‘the weight of this world…’ gliding into throbbing electronica. ‘Tropisms’ sounds equally triumphant tonight, given an extra kick live. The short support slot is enough to show how much they’ve progressed as a band since September when I saw them support Big Deal. Before they showed promise but the songs couldn’t quite fill the space, but now the sound is panoramic and the way is paved for The Soft to really go somewhere.

Patten showcases a very different brand of dance music to that of The Soft, where they are an ethereal, slow-burning beauty, Patten is upbeat and the beats and bass shift, just one man at the helm. When you take away all the internet mystique, Patten’s music is what matters. Barely audible vocoder vocals echo over sampling and thrusts of bass. The songs warp into each other, leaving chasms of hypnotic, trance-like dance music to float around the Portland Arms uninterrupted. Tonight is electronic music at it’s finest.
