Mogwai announce new album "Atomic"

Mogwai have announced a brand new album "Atomic". The record is comprised of reworked versions of their soundtrack for "Storyville - Atomic: Living in Dread and Promise", a documentary on the dawning of the atomic age that aired last year on the BBC. It'll be released April 1. They've also shared "U-235" which you can listen to here.

Arctic Monkeys and Mogwai lead best vinyl sale figures!

[Via FactMAG] - The Sheffield band and Scottish legends have both enjoyed booming vinyl sales over the past year. With Arctic Monkeys releasing their latest album - that went to number ONE in the UK - on vinyl and various singles too contributing to the success. Mogwai have also been announced as a spearheading act that does well when it comes to vinyl.

Bruce Springsteen, Elbow and Warpaint have also been loving their vinyl sales over the past 12 months with over 790,000 vinyl albums were sold in the UK, but 2014 is already more than one-third of the way to that target after 15 weeks, according to the Official Charts Company, who predict sales will hit around 900,000 for the full year if they continue at the current rate.

Scottish legends Mogwai reveal new track "Remurdered"

The Scottish post-rockers Mogwai have announced their new album "Rave Tapes" will be out on 20th January, 2014.

Mogwai announce 2014 shows

The Glasweigan band have announced a string of dates at the turn of the year. But before all of that the band play Cambridge Junction (28th November, 2013) and Camber Sands' ATP (1st December). Check out the list of shows below.
