Bloc Party bring "HYMNS" to Later... with Jools Holland
Bloc Party announced the other day that they'd be playing on Later... with Jools Holland, and the band didn't fail to disappoint. They performed two of their tracks from their latest album "HYMNS", which s out now. They were the albums opener "The Love Within", which actually opened the show, and "Virtue".

Radiohead unveil video for new track "Daydreaming"
So Radiohead just dropped another new one, this one is called "Daydreaming" and the video was directed by P.T. Anderson. It's another lengthy Radiohead track sitting in at a mighty SIX minutes plus and sees the band basically cement the sound they're going for on LP9.

Kasabian announce two new UK shows for May
Kasabain have announced two shows preceding their 'homecoming' shows in Leicester, the two shows will take place in Bridlington and Swindon with them taking place on the 24th and 26th of May respectively.

Funeral Suits are back with new track "Tree of Life"
The Irish band are back everyone, and it's been a while since they released their debut album "Lily of the Valley" back in 2012 but clearly their time away has been worth it. The track confirms that the band is right back in the game, especially considering that their video might end up being fairly controversial with suicides all over the place.
Try and not let that veer you off them, their track is synth-tinglingly beautiful, I'm so glad they're back, and you can check out the video below.

MGMT and Mac DeMarco are apparently collaborating!
MGMT and Mac DeMarco are apparently collaborating, well according to reports on other music sites at least. A photo shows them in a home-studio jamming away on something, and if you're eagle eyed you'll spot the same wallpaper on the walls in both the video MGMT posted recently and the very image that's sparked this frenzy!

[LISTEN] Busted - Coming Home
Right, before you get all arsey here and start calling me out hear the track first! Busted have returned with their first track for over TEN years, and they've stopped pretending that they're American and are writing for teenagers.
They're all grown men now with families and children, so bearing that in mind their new track isn't aimed at the younger generation, rather their fans of times gone by. This newbie is called "Coming Home" and sees them head into a new sound, a new sound that has some synths that remind us of Naked and the Famous, throwback sounds to the early 90's. Think of The Wombats' latest album and you're nearly there.

Barn on the Farm Festival add more names to incredible line-up
The intimate Barn on the Farm Festival which takes place in Gloucestershire from 1st-3rd July is certainly due to be incredible. The second line-up announcement was revealed yesterday evening and contains some very established acts as well as some exciting emerging artists on the indie music scene. For the first time, Barn on the Farm have unveiled their Farm Band, a collaboration between Gabrielle Aplin, Hudson Taylor, Joe Keogh (Amber Run) and Hannah Grace who will take to the main stage. Additions include Australian singer/songwriter, Ry X, who will play the Main Stage whilst Dan Croll and Rag n Bone Man will headline the outdoor stage over the weekend. They will also be joined by Eliza and the Bear, Fickle Friends, VANT, Port Isla, Laurel, The Academic, Dan Owen, Ady Suleiman plus many more.
Renowned for showcasing the best in up-coming talent to an intimate environment unlike any other festival, Barn on the Farm most definitely boosts an exceptional history of predicting future musical successes, with previous first festival headline performances from Ed Sheeran, Ben Howard, James Bay and Hozier. After Leicester City's heroics all season the local band announced a homecoming show at the football club's stadium, The King Power Stadium. Last night however they finally clinched the Premier League title over the woefully bad-tempered Spurs team.

Radiohead reveal video for new track "Burn The Witch"
After doing a Houdini on social media over the past few days, Radiohead earlier on today were teasing a 12 second video on their instagram, and just a few moments ago they dropped their brand new song, "Burn The Witch", with a video directed by Chris Hopewell.
It's the first song lifted from their - as yet un-announced - new album. Head on down to get the first listen on a Radiohead track, not every day we can say that!!! "Burn The Witch" will be available on all digital services from 00:01 on May 4th.

[LISTEN] Wildcat! Wildcat! - Relentless (feat. Wynne)
Wildcat! Wildcat! have revealed their brand new track, "Relentless", which features rapper Wynne on guest vocals. The track is right back to their electro-pop laden anthems and sees them also delve into a bit of an experiment with a new and young rapper in the shape of Wynne.
The band say - "We'd always wanted to collaborate with someone but we didn't know how it'd be possible or who would be a good fit, or how we'd play it live etc... as luck or fate would have it, our manager found this young rapper named Wynne. Then, there was this fist bumping moment of bliss and shock. We never talked to her or gave her any kind of notes or anything really but she nailed the vibe, the message, the attitude...everything and it was exactly the missing piece of the puzzle we've trying to put together for years."

Muse's Matt Bellamy breaks bone in his foot
What is it these days with Glastonbury headliners and breaking bones? Matt Bellamy of Muse has posted a photo of a broken/fractured toe to his Twitter account. With the words "Minor fracture big toe (ran into sprinkler w/bare feet) Hobbling next few shows No star jumps /pogoing for a while!"
Let's hope he doesn't break anymore bones otherwise it might be another shuffle-about on The Pyramid stage come June.

Biffy Clyro perform new songs in Annie Mac/BBC Radio 1 Session
Biffy Clyro headed down to Madia Vale to perform a very special session for Annie Mac and BBC Radio 1, with 30 fans in attendance too. The trio performed 12 songs in total with 4 of them getting their live debut. You can listen to it all (apart from "Animal Style") below.

Kasabian announce huge gig at Leicester City's King Power Stadium
Leicester City FC are about to make the biggest shock in football, a year ago they were flirting with relegation, and in just a year later they're about to be crowned champions of England. One of football's biggest fairytales - hands down! So what to Leicester's biggest band do as a thank-you? Announce a huge show at the football ground, yes that's right, KASABIAN are playing in the King Power Stadium.

Bloc Party are back in the studio
Bloc Party are back in the studio everyone, with their latest album "Hymns" already out, it looks like the itch to record needs to be scratched. The band are well known to release a 'filler' song between albums - as shown below.
This will also be the first time that their new drummer - Louise Bartle - would be a fully fledged member of the band as they hired a session drummer for "Hymns", one thing is promising though, they are using their guitars, so could be yet another 'edgy' number!

Prince dies at the age of 57
The artist known as Prince has died at the age of 57 It's All Indie understands. Prince's body was discovered at his Paisley Park pad in Minnesota early Thursday morning with various sources close to the singer confirming that he has passed away.
The singer -- full name Prince Rogers Nelson - had a medical emergency on April 15th that forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois. But he appeared at a concert the next day to assure his fans he was okay. However this news had saddened us to the core, he sold more than 100 million records during his career. RIP Prince.
Update at 18:23 - It's been confirmed by his publisict.

Brian Johnson releases statement regarding AC/DC, himself and his future
Brain Johnson has officially released a statement regarding him, AC/DC and his future as a musician.
"As many AC/DC fans know, the remaining shows for the 2016 AC/DC Rock or Bust World Tour, including 10 postponed U.S. shows, are being rescheduled with a guest singer. I want to personally explain the reason because I don’t believe the earlier press releases sufficiently set out what I wanted to say to our fans or the way in which I thought it should be presented.
On March 7th, after a series of examinations by leading physicians in the field of hearing loss, I was advised that if I continue to perform at large venues, I risked total deafness. While I was horrified at the reality of the news that day, I had for a time become aware that my partial hearing loss was beginning to interfere with my performance on stage. I was having difficulty hearing the guitars on stage and because I was not able to hear the other musicians clearly, I feared the quality of my performance could be compromised. In all honesty this was something I could not in good conscience allow. Our fans deserve my performance to be at the highest level, and if for any reason I can’t deliver that level of performance I will not disappoint our fans or embarrass the other members of AC/DC. I am not a quitter and I like to finish what I start, nevertheless, the doctors made it clear to me and my bandmates that I had no choice but to stop performing on stage for the remaining shows and possibly beyond. That was the darkest day of my professional life.
Since that day, I have had several consultations with my doctors and it appears that, for the near future, I will be unable to perform on stage at arena and stadium size venues where the sound levels are beyond my current tolerance, without the risk of substantial hearing loss and possibly total deafness. Until that time, I tried as best as I could to continue despite the pain and hearing loss but it all became too much to bear and too much to risk.
I am personally crushed by this development more than anyone could ever imagine. The emotional experience I feel now is worse than anything I have ever in my life felt before. Being part of AC/DC, making records and performing for the millions of devoted fans this past 36 years has been my life’s work. I cannot imagine going forward without being part of that, but for now I have no choice. The one thing for certain is that I will always be with AC/DC at every show in spirit, if not in person.
Most importantly, I feel terrible having to disappoint the fans who bought tickets for the canceled shows and who have steadfastly supported me and AC/DC these many years. Words cannot express my deep gratitude and heartfelt thanks not just for the recent outpouring to me personally of kind words and good wishes, but also for the years of loyal support of AC/DC. My thanks also go to Angus and Cliff for their support.
Finally, I wish to assure our fans that I am not retiring. My doctors have told me that I can continue to record in studios and I intend to do that. For the moment, my entire focus is to continue medical treatment to improve my hearing. I am hoping that in time my hearing will improve and allow me to return to live concert performances. While the outcome is uncertain, my attitude is optimistic. Only time will tell.
Once again, my sincere best wishes and thanks to everyone for their support and understanding.

The Coral unveil video for "Holy Revelation"
The Coral have today revealed the video for "Holy Revelation", which is the latest single lifted from their most recent album "Distance Inbetween". The album is The Coral's first since 2010, and even though "Distance Inbetween" was released last month it's already been widely praised as some are saying it's their best yet.
