Foals announce last minute hometown gig (ticket details)

Foals have announced details of a surprise, hometown gig less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place.

Oxfords finest indie-export will return to the very place that birthed them tomorrow evening (Saturday 1st) with the towns O2 Academy playing host to the groups special show.

Tickets for the event, that have been described by the band themselves as 'limited', will go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock with 50% of the tickets available via the venues Box Office and the remaining 50% available for purchase from Ticket Web (see links below).

Breaking the news just after 9 o'clock this morning via their Facebook and Twitter pages, the math-rock indie five piece excitedly wrote 'WE ARE PLAYING OXFORD...TOMORROW NIGHT!!!'.

The one off show, that arrives on the eve of their UK Tours first date, will act as a warm-up show and will undoubtedly be another highlight for the band that conquered 2013 with a rapturously received headline set at Latitude Festival and a titan sleighing main stage set at Reading Festival.

Reading + Leeds announce first batch of acts for 2014

The Festival has announced Blink 182, Disclosure, Metronomy, Jake Bugg, Wilkinson, Of Mice & Men and I Am Legion for the double header in 2014.

The festival will once again be ran over the Bank Holiday weekend in August with tickets available to snap up already! A £50 deposit for a weekend ticket, links below!

News: The Kabeedies to play new material live

The Kabeedies are the youthful darlings of the Norwich Indie scene, they have built their name upon great songs such as 'Sideburns', 'Lovers Ought To', and recently had a revival down to their song 'Come On' - being featured on the xBox Kinetic advert - and the stunning tropical track called 'Santiago'. Below is a few words from the band they sent out to their fans.

We're playing our farewell gigs to some of the songs from our début album 'Rumpus' that we're unlikely to play again. The mostest specialist gig will be at the Norwich Arts Centre on the 25th October (Buy HERE), where we haven't played in a year. Here are the remaining gigs of this year for us (minus one or two Christmas shows) ....
