Kobadelta reveal new video for "Ride By The Light" on It's All Indie [IAI PREMIÈRE]
Kobadelta are the Newcastle based 5-piece who we've posted about many times before, and for good reason! They play a unique brand of dark and brooding 'indie-psych-rock'. In the last year they've been invited to perform a live session for BBC Introducing, have been selected to headline the Tanners stage at Evolution Emerging Festival in Newcastle, as well as many more festivals.

Things are on the up for the five-some, and their VHS effect video is streaming on It's All Indie exclusively today. Their next gig is Stockton Calling 2016 on Saturday 26th March on a huge bill including the likes of Reverend & The Makers, Blossoms and Dutch Uncles. You can watch the video below.
Enjoy all!

The National share video for their Grateful Dead cover - "Morning Dew"
"Morning Dew" is The National's cover of Grateful Dead's cut, the track is lifted from The National's 'Day of the Dead" tribute album to the Grateful Dead curated by Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, with all profits going to Red Hot Organization. "Day of the Dead" is released on 20th May via 4AD. It's not your usual The National material, the vocals are silky smooth like chocolate and the guitars are so on point here!

High Tyde reveal video for epic new single "Dark Love"
"Dark Love" is the latest offering from brooding, indie upstarts High Tyde – the track was premièred by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. The track is the first release from the groups third EP "Safe", whch is released April 8t.
The track is a lot darker as the title would suggest, however they've still left in the upbeat Indie-Pop but have conbined with with some more rockier edges, similar to that of Bring Me The Horizon's work. The quartet also hit the road soon, the dates are just below.

[LISTEN] Yonaka - Ignorance
After hearing about them before their first track was out, I had to find out what all the fuss was about, then I heard who was managing them then realised why. Their manager is one of the best in the business and has a record for taking on great bands.
Anyway, less of him... he knows who he is. Yonaka's music is a mixture between post-punk-revival and dark-rock, with subtle hints towards the era between 2002 and 2008 which saw this music at the forefront of the music world, they seem to be wanting to bring it back, and for good. Head on down to hear the onslaught juggernaut that is "Ignorance".

[LISTEN] Holy Esque - Tear
Holy Esque have shared their new track "Tear" - the track which was originally released in 2012 has been reworked, rerecorded and now sounds huge! The track, which will be featuring on "At Hope's Ravine", will also be released on a 7" vinyl with a new track "Oslo" on the b-side.
Singer Pat Hynes says: "Tear" is a great example of two of the central themes of the album – darkness vs. light and hope. The song has an emotional weight and looks at the ever-constant fears and woes of everyday life against the hope of something better. It touches on escapism and the pursuit of greater things. It’s essential to the history and make-up of Holy Esque today.

[DAILY DOWNLOAD] Protomartyr - Dope Cloud
This is Protomartyr's brand new track "Dope Cloud", lifted from their brand new album "The Agent Intellect", which is out via Hardly Art records this September! It's a track that feels like you're on a roller-coaster, with angular guitars, post-punk hooks and some distorted vocals it's one of those tracks that reminds you of the early 2000's when that sound was all the rage, and the band sound like they wanna bring it back, it's a fucking jam!

[TRACK OF THE WEEK] Haus - Haze
Haus are back everyone, and after releasing a bunch of demos in the early days of the band's existence they're back with Ashley on vocals, and might I say the song's well worth the wait! It's been nearly a year since we saw any trace of the band being in the studio and with this self-produced track it shows off the lad's newly found sound, Indie-Pop with a dark twist and full of anthematic riffs and uplifting vocal yelps in the choruses.
After the band recorded the song and produced it themselves they gave it to Cenzo Townsend to mix - who's worked with the likes of Bloc Party and Foals - to give it that added edge. With their first single sounding like it's a resounding success be sure to see these chaps sign a record deal of some sort soon!
They're playing a secret show in London on 20th of August - find out more here.

[IAI PREMIÈRE] Kobadelta's video for "Blame It On Me"
"If you go down to the woods today, ignore what the TV has to say". The video itself may be tongue in cheek, but the song is rooted in the idea of mass media manipulation that we’re continually seeing. The media in this country is well established at pushing stereotypes, be it of the poor, of those on benefits, of immigrants or even just of 'The North' in general – and this stigmatisation is to fuel their own interests, namely the interests of those with the money and power to manipulate the media.
They can attribute blame onto whoever they desire to divert attention from those who are the real cause via prolific blanket coverage of whatever suits their needs – or a total media blackout of whatever doesn’t. We essentially have entire papers and TV channels that are puppets to those in power, and in turn we all risk being puppets by default. We know you aren’t all mugs, but others think differently. No one seems prepared to take blame for situations we find ourselves in, instead they shift the blame to their advantage in an endless cycle of finger pointing. We're forever being told that "we're in this thing together", but the reality couldn't be further from the truth... Blame It On Me.
Kobadelta's new single is on their latest EP - "Open Visions" - and you can pick it up here.
