As the post title suggests the track is ready for the summer! LANY's new track has got the video treatment and it's one to behold too. On the video vocalist Paul Klein added, "There needed to be a vibe but not at the expense of narrative. I was insanely lucky to work with Nadia on piecing together a concept that delivered both".
Be sure to keep an eye on this band while at festivals, they're going to be huge over here soon!

[LISTEN] Indigoe - The Flash
Fresh out of California is Indigoe, the project of Josh Collopy is an instrumental track with nods towards TYCHO, the ambient side of The 1975 and is ready for those 'Midnight Mixtapes'. The track is an epic six minutes long and oozes bounce and bite.

Album Review... Ima Robot - Another Mans Treasure
Here is a track by track Album Review of Ima Robot - Another Mans Treasure, the actual album on consists of an initial eight tracks, but the digital copy which can be ordered online has a bonus four tracks, which will also be reviewed here
Intro:
The beginning track, truly sets the tone for the rest of the album
Out of 10: 7/10
Ruthless:
The first single off the new album, it shows just how different the band has become. With Alex Ebert mumbling out words that could only make sense to him, it still has that sense of an Ima Robot song, but with four years of growing up, it's much darker touch gives it a truly eery feeling as you listen to it.
Out of 10: 8/10
Rough Night:
Ruthless perfectly medleys into this track, and the initial tone still remains. Starting the song off with the words "Sitting like an Indian...to see my friend again" (:52), the slow, direful beat coupled with his low voice truly hits home.
Out of 10: 6/10
Life is Short:
The album takes a slight turn for the happy here, with a tune that could adorn an ice cream truck and not be out of place at all, reminding us that life truly is short and all we need is love, whether it is right or wrong.
Out of 10: 7/10

Sail With Me:
More synth heavy, this song has a fairly simple beat, mixed in with morbid lyrics that has Alex Ebert questioning his own mortality.
Out of 10: 8/10
Pass It On:
Slightly repetitive, but truly heart warming, focusing mainly on the phrase "Pass it on and multiply your love" in a way only Ima Robot can do, it doesn't get boring at all, making it a really fun song.
Out of 10: 6/10
Shine Shine:
An all acoustic song, it's a fairly personal song, centring once again on the concept of love, and how it will always lead us home. With Alex Ebert singing with a much softer voice, its a very smooth song.
Out of 10: 9/10
Swell:
Maxing out at nine minutes two second, this completely instrumental song is not all that, there's something very pleasing about this song, a song that can be played in the background for hours on end and not really get tiresome, it doesn't force you to pay attention to it, and in its modesty lies its beauty, making a really relaxing song.
Out of 10: 7/10
Greenback Boogie:
A really fun song, more upbeat than the rest of the song. It is a bit more of a mature dance song, not exactly your little brothers idea of a dance song but something you can still get down and move around to.
Out of 10: 9/10
Victory:
A much more nostalgic song, this song resembles more what they were doing around the end of the last album, very anthemic and very personal, but still upbeat as hell.
Out of 10: 9/10.
Peru:
Another full instrumental, It is a really simple beat but very beautiful the whole way through, it easily enters your mind and gets you thinking, even though it says nothing. It really reminds you just how powerful the beat of a song can be in contrast to the typical lyricist.
Out of 10: 10/10

Band Review... Gliss
Exciting-sounding yet underrated American three piece Gliss, are a band from LA, California. Gliss consist of Victoria, Martin and Dave. In an interview, they said that they all played drums and also each others’ instruments. No wonder during their live shows, you can often see the vocalist’s position switching from a member to another.
Their hit single ‘Morning Light’ has captured a lot of listeners’ hearts. It starts with some distorted guitar, and then some drums with the drummer played standing up straight. The sweet bass on ‘Morning Light’ is accompanied with some equally sweet lyrics like ‘Darling, it’s a start. Darling, in your heart.’ It’s a really catchy song and it has a really well-made music video too!

Thought that they’re pop rock-ish after having heard ‘Morning Light’? Think again. Moving on with ‘Velvet Stars’, has a much gloomier and dark feeling pumped into the song. ‘Kissing the Blvd.’ is sung by Martin, rather than the female vocalist Victoria. It sounds a little retro and is rather intense compared to the other songs by the band.
You should keep an eye on them as they are a really fresh band and have an awful lot of energy on stage.

EP Review... Repeater - Patterns
I swear post-punk is coming back to life, Editors have shown us what is possible, White Lies brought another route with infectious hooks, Bloc Party with their debut album Silent Alarm providing mainstream attention and now it's the turn of a band that I have found all the way from Long Beach, California, USA. Their EP is 3 tracks long and is filled with infectious hooks and riffs with vocals that are shouted above the music with such heart and soul. Below is a breakdown of the Ep track by track.
Patterns:
The opening track and this sets the release alight from the beginning with catchy guitars on the intro and blistering drumming you are thought that this is going to be a generic post-punk track. Wrong, then it hits you. These vocals are just perfect for the music, they accompany each other very well. Then the chorus hits in and it sounds like a combination of Tom Smith (Editors) rhythm guitar and a drop that any band would be proud of. This is indeed a epic 4:34 long track with a well executed breakdown towards the end with a slow build up back to the original pace of the song, and finally ending on what can only be described as an anthem!
Out of 10: 9/10

Keep The Sun From Rising:
You would of thought it can't get better right? Well, this track continues on the lines of anthematic post-punk-rock with a brilliant intro that sounds slightly Irish (in the vocals) then drops into the sweet tingly guitars. It stays right the way trough the song and that is what I love best. The melody in the song is just awesome with this chilled track taking a turn away from the first one but not dropping below par one bit!
Out of 10: 8/10
To Swallow Lost Goodbyes:
This is the last track on the EP and they want to go out on a high. They do it easily! It is without question exhilarating with an angry sounding that Steve (Singer) has set out to feel once again as epic and as much of an anthem as possible with the riffs and hooks that have made me feel like their album (which is coming soon) will be one of those brilliant records. Another long (ish) track and it is laid out the same as the others, a brilliant intro, the great filling in the middle and a end that keeps on getting better until it suddenly slows down to a crash and the EP ends with me feeling all dizzy!
